And in your theme’s main JS the line containing
$( ‘a[href*=#]:not([href=#])’ ).click( function() {
should be this: (with the “” before and after the #)
$( ‘a[href*=”#”]:not([href=”#”])’ ).click( function() {

I found a fix for it! Yay!

Make sure your define (‘UPLOADS’, ‘media’); line is above the
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ line. It worked for me.

It is very misleading, as line 4 in the basic features says:

Unlimited layers with image, text or custom HTML content
