Just tried that. All plugins deactivated and using WP 2019 theme. Still breaks the site. I reinstalled the plugin, and the launch screen doesn’t show. All links on the site redirect to the home page.
This is the page that blanks:
https://nsrc-online.org/wp-admin/?page=nextgen-galleryI have put back the site.
Gaby: I deleted the NextGen files and uploaded the new version by FTP. That didn’t work. I also tried uploading the previous version. Nope.
I also installed the WP 2019 theme and tried it with that theme. Didn’t work.
I checked with my web hosting company and they meet the requirements on the page you linked to.
Did not have a problem with the WordPress update Friday that I noticed.
It seems like once the plugin installs, the site wants to go to some kind of greeting page for NextGen. That page is blank. And then that’s when everything starts redirecting.
The only other thing I can think of to do is install the previous version of WordPress to see if that works. But then I’d have a non-secure site.
I have deleted the plugin for now, and the site works again. Please let me know if you have any other solutions or would like access to the site to take a look. I’ll wait a couple of days before we make a final decision.
I see you got your redirects to work. I am having the same problem. What did you do to fix this? Can you help me? Would appreciate it. Thanks!
If I recall correctly, the forms remain in the database so they should still be there. Might want to take screenshots and/or do a backup just in case.
To install the older version, you can go to Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin. Choose the zip file for the plugin, then click Install Now.
You also can upload via FTP.
You can download a previous version of the plugin by following the instructions here for Option 1:
https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/download-older-versions-of-wordpress-plugins/
I have done this before when plugins freak out, as happens occassionally.
You’ll need to manually upload and reinstall the older version, but at least you’ll get it back.
Hope this helps!
Sorry. I had an old redirect command in my 301 Redirects that was causing the problem. All is fixed. Thanks for your help!
I am using this shortcode:
[photonic type='smugmug' view='album' album='C532PV' columns=3 count=20 start=1]
I am only making minor wording changes so I have a reason to save the page again. I have not changed the shortcode since I first set this up.
That did it! I shut off the transitions and now it works. Thank you so much!
Thank you, persistent people! This issue has been driving me nuts for MONTHS! I am uninstalling the Pinterest plugin on Safari.
Oh, sorry, it asked me for the page link and I thought you’d be able to see it.
Page is here: https://catenacreations.com/photo-gallery/
Do you need access to the site?

In reply to: [Nictitate] Mobile menu doesn't showYes, I was using WP Responsive Menu. I have deactivated it.
I did not install this plugin until after I posted this support request. It was not keeping the mobile menu for appearing. There’s a problem with the theme. I tried several things with the mobile CSS but could not get it to work.

In reply to: [Nictitate] Mobile menu doesn't showCrouchingBruin: That’s because I went ahead and found a plugin for the menu so I could present this to the client today. The mobile menu that’s built into the theme does not show.
