Thanks for all your help. I have no idea why, as nothing i can see has changed, but the form has just started working, I remain stumped, but for now, all is ok.

Thanks for the reply, the boxes you refer to are setup in exactly the same way as the working form on the site.

Ive used contact form 7 loads and loads of times, never have I seen this problem, I am completely stumped.

Im not sure I understand.

The input is <p>Your Name
[text* name] </p>

and this outputs in the body of the email to: From: [name]

I dont see any problem with this, or am i misunderstanding you?

thanks for the reply. I have actually deleted the form thats not functioning and re-created it, same issue.

Here are the details:

Thanks Andrew, its an oddd one, I can’t see any reason for it to be there. Commented it out, all is well, thanks for your reply.

Nobody any thoughts or insights into this mystery line?

No idea where the function is, I just switched to a different editor, problem solved.

Found the issue, it was ckeditor!

I have the same issue, if I turn off ckeditor and make a change to a page, then no alert, switch ckeditor back on and the issue returns.

Thanks for your reply. The only likely one of the options you mentioned is perhaps the plugins, as the problem is occuring on mulitiple WP installs, using different themes and on various hosts, so it can’t be theme specific and is very unlikely to be the other points mentioned. Most of the installs use the same or similar plugins, so I will try going through them. I will report back.

Done, switched off all plugins (all of which I have used many times with Contact7, without issue), no change. So i tried default theme, no change either. I am still unable to send if there is a space in the name.
