Yeah, these guys are clueless. I have opened a ticket about this, the last response was quite lengthy and tried to say that it was either because of my theme or because of minification I was running. That’s not the case. The problem is in the embedded asset that they ship which is the file at:
/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/vendor/skyverge/wc-plugin-framework/woocommerce/payment-gateway/assets/css/frontend/sv-wc-payment-gateway-payment-form.min.css

For reference anyone lands on this topic, give up. They won’t help you and will waste your time.

I did open a ticket but no response after first telling me to delete and reinstall. That didn’t fix it. Support for this plugin is probably the very worst I’ve ever experienced in terms of being incompetent, clueless, and slow.

Will you ever fix this? Every time the plugin is updated I have to go in and fix your plugin.

Hello I get an error after upgrading contact form 7 to 5.4
“An error occurred while processing a PDF: file type unknown of is unsupported for image embedding.”

I can confirm Reverting to version CF7 5.3.2 fixed the issue.

Good to know. You can contact WP Engine and let them know that your plugin is php7 compliant. They will add your plugin to a whitelist they maintain.

Disabling the “Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer” plugin worked for me.
