    Hi Jared,
    Thanks so much for the quick reply.

    That makes sense, and am I correct that omitting the From Address option would mean that my Ninja From submissions wouldn’t send through SMTP? (I’m looking at the tutorial here which says “…the From Emails from anything on your site that sends email must match this email address in order for SMTP to work…”). It seems that if I want to maintain the customer email address when the form submission is sent to ZenDesk, then I won’t be able to use WP Mail SMTP.

    Thank you for the very helpful steps, Clayton. It looks like if I Allow https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js, the calendar module loads successfully. Maybe something about that particular script not getting loaded is throwing off the loading of the plug-in? I’ll see if I can get any support from uBlock Origin or Bookify now that I have some more information.

    Turned out I was only able to access my site because I had logged in. Users were still being redirected after I uninstalled the plugin.

    My web host cleared out the site settings and server cache and all is well again. Not sure what was going on, but I’m hesitant to reinstall Bot Block.

    Jack, I’ve ended up doing a manual fix for this in my child stylesheet. I added the following code to style.css:

    #main #content img {
    max-width: 620px;
    }

    And that seems to have fixed it!

    Nevermind, my client added some more pages and it’s back to acting strangely.

    At 8 pages/thumbnails, it had a problem. She added one more and the problem resolved, but when I unpublished one to make it back down to 8, the problem was still resolved.

    Now she has added a 10th page and things are acting up again. Page 9 is on row 3 all the way to the right, and page 10 is knocked down to a 4th row. Any ideas what could be causing this strange error?

    Hm, it seems to have righted itself? Maybe something about my cache and clearing and mumblemumble….

    I’ve been having the same problem, strikethroughs just default back to normal when I update the post. Bold and italics are fine.

    Like Calophi, mine work okay when I do it in HTML mode, but unlike his, mine seem to stay struck through even when I switch back and forth between HTML and WYSIWYG.

    I updated my WordPress and all plugins, and my theme is up to date.

    I see your post is listed as resolved. Did you manage to find a solution to this problem? I’m suffering the same problem on my blog and I’ve tried everything I can find/think of.

    Ok, in addition to everything else, I’ve tried the following:

    -I contacted my host again, asking if the methods for manually increasing my PHP memory allocation would work, or if they the host need to do that. They said changing the .htaccess and wp-config files myself should do it. I tried doing both of these again, and nothing has changed.

    -People talked about having all of your plugins deactivated. Mine already were but I went ahead and tried deleting all plugins and themes, nothing changed.

    I was able to install a plugin this morning from my work computer, but now I can’t install any more.

    I just don’t understand why this problem appeared suddenly out of nowhere, and why it seems to be happening so randomly.

    I’ve also just tried manually installing and then activating the Memory Bump plugin. No change in the problem.

    Is there any way to tell whether your memory has actually increased, or should I assume that since I buy web hosting that I’ll need to ask my web host to increase the memory? And is there any reason that having insufficient memory would let plugins/installs go through on occasion, at seemingly random times, and not the majority of the time?

    Some follow-up on my problem, I thought the problem might be that my WP’s were installed through Fantastico, but a fresh manual install with the official WP zip file still didn’t resolve the problem.

    I also tested the problem on some of my older blogs on the same host, which are WordPress versions 2.9.2 and 2.8.6, and the problem was still there. This is looking more and more like a problem with my web host, since it seems to have appeared suddenly and absolutely no variables, including WordPress version or method of installation, seem to change it.

    I’ve submitted a support ticket to my webhost about the issue. If I get any feedback, I’ll report back here!

    Thanks.

    I’m getting the exact same problem. Can’t update plugins, can’t install new themes, etc. It either gives me a blank screen (still with the menu, header, etc. but no content) or it will occasionally show that it has downloaded and is unpacking the package, but it never gets any further. Never any error messages or timeouts, my browser just says “done”.

    I’ve experimented on different computers, browsers, and internet connections with no luck. I even tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling WordPress. The weird part is, it seems to be affecting all of the blogs I host. Could it be something to do with my webhost?

    Would really love some help or ideas on this as it’s put quite a kink in the progress of my new blog. Thanks!
