I’ve taken a screengrab with two plugins, one yours, the other, another social media icon plugin, working in widget form within my footer to clear up any confusion:

The top line on the screengrab appears to be generated by your plugin. any other time, like I said, I’d have to insert the <HR> code

Thanks for your help. the reason I am trying to persevere with your plugin is you offer all the icon options i want for the social media (unlike the one I am currently using) but would just like to know where that line is being generated, so I can get rid of it!

That’s why i decided to ask for help on here. Normally, with my theme, to create a line like that, I used the horizontal ruler code, <hr> to create it within the footer.

But I made sure to remove any text widget with the hr code when testing your plugin and the line was still there. Hence my confusion and wondering if it was something the plugin was generating.

My site is timchivers. com. The theme is Daisho from Devatic, in case that helps.

I tried adding two themes. The social 3d grayscale from your website. And the different version of the picons icons. Without the circle border.
