thanks for the quick response.

We solved it with removal of User Role Editor and a restore of the database from a backup.

Anyway, this should be solved somehow, since we would like to use both of this plugins.

I have the exact same issue.

What I have ssen, is that direct after installation (1 day ago) of User Role Editor, the Tablepress capabilites are shown in the Role Editor as extra box for Tablepress. But today, this disappears as also the Tablepress Button in the dashboard.

“To use this widget in a template, use the the_widget() function which WordPress provides.”

This is only written on the plugin-page at wordpress.
But anyway, it is also not working with this plugin.

On the authors page, it is written:

“To use the template tag: Add <?php sidebarlogin(); ?> to your template.”

The same in the readme.txt (but the readme is still 2.4 ?? )

But also not working on my sites. I think, we have to go back to 2.4, which was working in templates.

Yes, last response from the author is now 6 month ago …

I think, this plugin is dead now, should look around for something else. Or even make it by myself.
