In reply to: [Twitter Widget Pro] Plugin has stopped workingWell this is embarrassing. I cleared my Firefox cache and Twitter Widget Pro is back. I’ll know what to do next time!
I installed the plugin about an hour ago and I am now locked out of my admin pages. I have tried renaming the plugin folder/going direct to wp-login.php etc but can’t get in. I have asked my web host to restore my site from a backup.
The irony is that while I am locked out, the site is functioning perfectly when it should be in maintenance mode!

In reply to: [Register Plus] Register Plus Alternative?I would also like to see an alternative to Register Plus, or an updated version of it. It has been a really useful plugin but no longer works since the update to WordPress 3.5.

In reply to: [Twitter Widget Pro] Keep fixed the number of items displayedI am using only one instance of Twitter Widget Pro but have noticed that older tweets seem to expire and disappear. I’ve set it to display 4, but today there are only the 2 most recent ones left. I can’t find any setting to adjust to stop this happening.
Never mind, I found out to fix it and there was no need to edit the php file. There are TWO “Hide sending application” checkboxes, one under Settings/Twitter Widget, and the other under Appearance/Widgets/Twitter Widget Pro. It was the second of these that did the trick.
Where exactly in wp-twitter-widget.php do you change “true” to “false”? I have tried several changes but none have made any difference.

In reply to: Text flow around imageI have put a test page at https://paulgross.org/wp/?page_id=2
The gap seems to be caused by the <h2> tag. Is there a way to get the next level 2 header to start beside the image?
OK, all I had to do was set the 4-digit guestbook page ID manually in Guestbook/Settings. Fixed!
