Can you check with latest Icegram version? Please clear your cache too and then try.
Assuming you are referring to the call to action button text label for Action Bars.
I just reconfirmed that the button text does show with WP 4.1.1.
In case you still can’t see text, couple of suggestions:
1. Change the color scheme of the action bar. Use a darker background color and contrasting text color. See if that works.
2. Give us the URL where we can see this problem in action. That will give us some hints as to what’s going wrong.
Thanks.
This happens because of z-index and absolute / fixed positioning differences in Icegram and the theme.
There is an easy CSS based fix for this though. We can’t include the fix in Icegram itself because if we did, it would cause problems with many other themes.
Will post the fix here in a day.
Thanks for bringing this up! We’ve made all our premium add-ons WordPress Multisite compatible now!
The settings you have seem to be correct.
I checked the site, but could not see the popup – you may have removed it for now.
The retargeting logic uses cookies to track when someone saw a message. So if cookies are cleared, they will see the message again. If one uses “private” / “incognito” mode to check this retargeting won’t work. If one checks from different browsers / devices, retargeting would work for each browser / device – not for that user.
BTW, you may also need to clear your browser cache / WP cache sometimes – in cases where your server / browser has an old version of one of Icegram’s files.
Please try these options, and contact us at [email protected] if the problem persists! Confirm here if it solves!
Thanks.
Can you please try the just updated 1.8.6 version? We’ve updated a few possible causes of this problem and would like to get your confirmation if it solves your problem. If it does not, please provide access to your server and we can take a look and fix the problem.
Thanks.
Seems there is another plugin you have that’s also using the device detection library Icegram uses.
We just released an update that should take care of this error. Please try 1.8.6 version.
Please try with the latest 1.8.1 release. And possibly try a wildcard match like this:

Also, can you try another type of message – not a popup – action bar or something else – on that page? Sometimes there could be a conflict in JavaScript libraries leading to such problems.
@ccelle: Advanced retargeting rules will be added to Icegram in future releases. We’ve been improving on retargeting every few releases so far, and will continue doing that. Have added your suggestion of “number of times per session” to our list.
About not showing up a message in the current session after first time – this is already possible. Look through the drop down for duration selection under retargeting rules. There is an option for current session. This way the message won’t show on the next page.
Try that with the latest release too. There was a compatibility issue with some caching systems about retargeting, and we have solved it in the last release.
Our email is [email protected]. If you send us your WP admin login credentials over email, we can take a look at the issue with Divi theme.
Thanks.
Nirav@diglett: Thank you for your inputs. Will consider this for a future release.
We have an addon coming that will allow showing IG messages on other sites – WordPress or otherwise. You may want to try that till we have native multisite support. The addon should be released by the end of Nov 2014.
Hi Diglett,
Icegram does not officially support multisite yet. I would like to hear from you about how you would like it to work though…
– Do you want to run IG campaigns on multiple sites from one place? (e.g. the master admin can target any page on any site)
– Or do you want individual site admins to manage their own campaigns?:Nirav
@lbtf1: If you do not want Icegram’s button to appear in a message, leave the Call to Action button link and label empty when you define your message. Just put your GravityForms code in the message body.
That should sort the issue out.
Please confirm.
This fix was included in the last release.
Hi Jordi,
Thanks for fixing it yourself! So the problem was in targeting rules – “Where”.. Will look into code for that.
When a campaign / message is deleted, it stays in Trash. When you empty trash, then all entries from tables should be removed.
Will solve the email issue as well..

@jbericat: Nice website!
I checked your site and indeed the retargeting rule is not working as expected.
Few suggestions:
- Please use the latest version of Icegram.
- Ensure that you have “
Once shown, do NOT show a message again for
” set to “Today
” (or One week) inRetargeting
. AndSave
your campaign. - Try visiting a couple of pages on the site. Let the optin popup appear.
- Open the site again. See if the popup appears..
If this does not work, try disabling other plugins and only use Icegram. Then see if the retargeting rule works. (I noticed errors from other plugins on the site).
If all fails, give us admin access to your site (email “support” at “icegram” dot “com”)
We may have some delay in responding due to holidays here, but will respond ASAP.
Thanks.
Sorry about the delay. The fix is already in the code, but it’s going to be released on Monday – 20th October. We had some other updates too – hence the release got delayed a bit.
