Upon installing S2member,any new member role is defaulted as a subscriber.
Is it possible to upload files with this user role?
It is possible to change for the unchangeable role allotted by S2member Framework?

1. the problem still exists. Tried doing the things. on default theme the error vanished only to reappear on weaver Xtreme.
But I tried appending the http// to all the links. It works now.
hope this is a viable solution.
I’ll be needing some dynamic url member profile link later on. The php links does shows the errors leading to 404.

yes changed the wp-config.php and functions.php in the theme
Front end seems to be working fine. Can’t access the back end

I have changed the wp-config.php and added those codes to the functions.php file of my theme
My front end is working now buy the back end appears problematic.

Yes I said that.
Earllier after the upgrade my home page didn’t load instead it loaded an empty page titled “Home” which I later trashed it. Then I tried fixing that from Settings>general tab by changing the site URL and WordPress URL.
Everything seems messed up after the upgrade

Hi Tara and to others who are following this thread.

the problem seems so be because of the missing upgrade.php file.

Uploaded the file from fresh wp downloaded file

and the upgrade was smooth.

Simple solution appears atm is by restoring your updates from the control panel provided by your host till the bugs are fixed.

I restored using the site backup provided by my host.
Will try the newer version when the bug is fixed

Same here. Back end is not accessable. It leads to page not found page on every link.
