It’s still using the old PayPal method.

Just the basic [wp_paypal_payment] shortcode. There’s no caching plugin on the site, and I don’t believe there’s any caching on the server itself.

The script timeout time wasn’t low, but it does like it was just a failed update attempt. I ran the update again and it’s working normally this time. Thanks.

The issue must have been something specific to some content or setting on the pages, becase it was only happening on a few of the pages, not all of them. Most of them were just fine with whatever permalink structure we had them set to, so the usual resetting permalinks/server config stuff didn’t help. The host wasn’t having any luck tracking things down either. We ended up restoring a backup to fix the issue. That also highlighted it being page-specific, because the first restore fixed all but 2 pages, then we had to roll back further to fix those 2. The odd thing is there weren’t any recent revisions showing up for those pages, so it doesn’t seem like it would have been page content changes.

The problem is nothing else on the site has a specific tab index set, because things are supposed to flow in the natural order of the page content. But because the form field has a tab index set, that automatically becomes the first item you tab to. For any user with accessibility issues who needs to use tab to navigate, that makes for a very jarring experience when they suddenly get dragged to the bottom of the page for no reason.

Ok, we’ll try to check on that when we spot it again.

I tried it out, but even on that version I still get the same error when I try switching to PHP 8.0 or PHP 8.1.

It’s been quite a while, any update on what the timeline might be on a fix for this?

It’s been a month without any response, is this plugin still being supported?

I just tried that again, the error still occurs even on the default theme (Twenty Twenty Two).

The only error that was found was the one already listed in the original post.

I tried that, even with all other plugins deactivated is still occurs.
