It would be really nice if someone could make a plugin that would enable webmasters to see and edit the anchor tag (“a href”) in the blogroll/bookmarks area of wordpress. Or may be an option to add, edit extra attributes to the anchor tag.

Hi, I am using WP 2.3.3 and Google XML Sitemaps 3.0.3

I want to exclude few categories from the sitemap being generated. There is an advanced option to exclude posts and pages but how do I exclude the entire category with existing and future posts in it. The option of putting category ID in the exclude box would be nice.

Any development on BuddyPress or similar plugins ?

Yes I can … but as Otto42 mentioned it is more than what google analytics provides me. Secondly, I keep changing the theme in 4-6 months, so I don’t want to risk forgetting to add those few lines of code.

The problem I was facing was that it does not show the google analytics code at all in the source code of the web page and google was not registering any hits.

I have shifted to another google analytics plugin now. Its called sem-google-analytics and it can be found at https://www.semiologic.com/software/marketing/google-analytics/

Its working fine for me. I dont know why its not on wordpress site.

Hey even I am looking for such a thing. I guess there is a plugin to manage bulk posts … but I dont remember off hand .. will search it out … u do that 2.

So that means it cannot be done using WP and we have to take the WPMU route. Okie so be it.

Actually, WPMU is to create multiple blogs on the same domain. I was wondering if its possible to run say 30-40 different websites on the same server using single installation of WP. This would help in updating and single backup.

Ok I got it working. For those with similar problem , that is, if you are using JamesKelly Themed Plugin with Cimy User Extra plugin :

1. Upload only the themed-logreg.php file to your plugin directory not the whole folder that you have downloaded.

2. Edit ( at your own risk and make necessary backups ) themed-logreg.php file and at line 871 (just before “A password will be emailed to you.”) add this :
<?php do_action('register_form'); ?>

and it works great. I am using WP 2.2
