In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] AWS Fatal Error in 3.6.10Sorry, already tried that (but I did try again). When I go to the S3 tab and enter in my S3 key nothing happens and the “Bucket selection” field shows
The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
Logs still show the same error I mentioned above. It is definitely weird, I have the plugin on many sites including one with the same host (different VPS machine) and they’re working fine.
Thanks for the help

Also, reverting to 3.6.9 resolves this for me too, must be something in AWS changes from v3.6.10
Thanks for any help
I am having the same issue (same error code and file size > 5GB). The backups start but dont finish and the files that do end up in s3 are corrupted (presumably incomplete). There are some size discrepancies too (S3 shows tar is 4.9GB, BackWPUP shows 5.24 / 5.37 (see below).
I’ve been running BackWPUp for ages, no changes to server etc.
Relevant part of my log looks like this

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Exclude PDF files from cachingWhat was your solution? Thanks!
Me too, it is extraordinarily annoying.
I tried setting a boolean value of ‘0’ for the key ‘show_new_dashboard_notice’ under wp_options > itsec_global in the database but this still didnt work (it seems like itsec is using the default value of ‘1’ for
ITSEC_Modules::get_setting( 'global', 'show_new_dashboard_notice' )
regardless of the DB setting).Instead I just ended up commenting out line 14 of /better-wp-security/core/modules/global/active.php and this does it.
Hopefully will be fixed in a future release.
Awesome, thanks!

All In One SEO Pack: by Michael Torbert – 2.3.1It was immediate. The first of the two sites on my install was working fine but the second site wouldn’t load at all. I tried deactivating and re-activating but got the same result.
I know this isn’t very helpful for other people but I moved my site to another server (went from someone else’s HostGator to my private Dreamhost server) and it’s working perfectly again.
Sorry to say I never got to the bottom of the issue, nor was HG tech support any help at all but I am glad its working again.
Thanks for your help.
Its been working great for months, I was thinking about downgrading WP but am a little worried it will require a database restore, also not ideal since I would lose the security upgrades as well.
Hmm, no joy for me with either of those versions…
Thanks again for your help.
Having the same issue — error 405. Weird thing is its working fine on a different WP install (on another server) so I think its something to do with the host/server.
Anyone found a fix yet?
