In reply to: Re-platforming existing website to WordPressI made a list of them all even 302s. Do I need to sort them out before I install WordPress and start to convert the files or is it after I finish converting files into WordPress?

In reply to: Re-platforming existing website to WordPressThank you for your reply!
I used ‘Xenu’ to tell me if there are any 301 redirections on the website and there are sooo many! Do you have any suggestions how to handle that? URLs will not change once the website is live but there are still URLs that are already redirected to the old website.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Adding Magento into WordPress websiteThank you, those plugins require having Magento on the same server as WordPress site, however, this is not the situation – Magento and actual website are on two different servers – do you have any idea how to get around it? or would you just move Magento and WordPress to the same server? Which one would be easier?

In reply to: XAMPP and WP installationI sorted it out. I re-installed XAMPP and it is working fine now. I think it must have been old version of XAMPP and that’s why it wasn’t working.
By the way, here is great explanation of “How to Install XAMPP and WordPress Locally on PC/Windows” – https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/setting-up-xampp/
Well worth reading for anyone having problem with installation!Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: XAMPP and WP installationI just tried to type 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost but it gives me the same error message.
And yes, I do get the xampp dashboard page when I type localhost in my browser – is that wrong?
