for correct understanding you cant add a custom meta-item in the blog preview page? Default I can choose date, author, category and comment.

I found the fix for ipad/iphone
add to custom css

@media screen and (max-device-width : 1024px) {

background-attachment: scroll;
}
}

Still need css from developer for all other background image styles.
