Hello again, I want to update you a bit as I tried to change something myself in the woocommerce settings I enabled variable products and the other product option. I’m not feeling fully resolved but I have added taxes.

I am updating that in the final check out window when you add a billing address the taxes do update but I do not want that to be the only times people see their taxes. How can i solve this? Where have I missed a step? I can see the taxes at the very end but I want my customers to see that tax is being applied before the final step. Thanks!

Thank you!! Yes that is what I believe is happening, although it changes from a downloadable product to a virtual and downloadable product. I will include 2 videos to further explain my issues, recorded in one video on the awesome screenshare.

I did use the guide, in the video I have used a variable product, but previously I have tried and used a single product and the result is the same. The product changes to a virtual product when I save the changes after unticking the box for virtual product. I also have tried to create a new product and start fresh and it will still make it a virtual product. I am not sure if any action is triggering it, I do know that it seems as if it is a default feature and I do not want it to be.

I am hoping to be able to have my product, being downloadable tickets, to be taxed by people in the guest check out. I do not want to require people to sign in and set a shipping address in order to buy my product, I want taxes to be applied to the tickets as the product they are. I am using automated taxes from the shipping and tax plug in. In the video of my website you will notice that when I am logged into my account with a shipping address associated with it my taxes are charged, but if there is no address attached then no taxes are charged, additionally if you log out and have no account taxes are not charged. I also show that our other products that are not downloadable are taxed at checkout. I have taxes on the virtual product set to Tickets GST in the shipping section with the weight and sizes all 0.

Where have I made an issue and how can I resolve this easily if possible?
