I have a similar problem, but this did not work. I still don’t get the toolbar on the front page.

In reply to: [Friends] I edited the friends page and this happened:Yes, I am talking about the public friends page that displays friends’ posts. I am using the classic editor, which may be how it got broken.

In reply to: [Link Library] HTML is not working anymoreI am having the same problem with the latest update.
Hey ?? I am sorry. I didn’t mean to imply that you’re not talking to people. I just thought (due to my assumptions that we were probably being blocked for requests that looked shady) that there was some issue with upgrades or changes without updating people or something.
I did manage to get it working on my personal blog, and not only am I listed, but Mastodon made a profile page. I’ll try to figure out how that will work, but it’s good that once you’re there, your really there-there.
Thank you for all that you do. This is the thing, I think, that will give writers and reporters who are actually talking about the reality of life and even just the variety of fantasy and creativity more of a voice. I’m definitely setting this up on some of my clients’ sites who are “not into social media” but are up for it, should have a presence there.
Please do. This was the best thing about the old version. All of the other features were nice too, but the ability to automatically display the URL on posts and pages was the best. As long as we can also exclude types or specific url’s too, I’ll be happy.
The pro features are nice, but that one important thing was crucial.
Seconding. I want the functionality of the old plugin that did it automatically and displayed it on the posts.

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Deleted it due to lack of common senseOkay, so if I say I won’t take the time to fix your car that still runs because it’s old…
Almost no plugin has actually been free as in totally free for about a decade. Plugin developers build them without charging for the initial product with the understanding that folks are basically testing them to see if they really work and how well, so they can then make a paid upgrade or premium options.
So we’re not even customers. We’re free testers…basically, working for the developers for free.
So if while we’re doing this service, we’re told that they don’t see a point in dealing with our concerns because our host doesn’t do an upgrade that we can’t do ourselves, then okay…that’s their right not to see a point in it, but also our right to take our services elsewhere.
…and if you’re going to be their lapdog and laugh at people and ridicule them without even getting paid for it, you’re giving them a free service as well. However, I wouldn’t call people like you *good* advertisement.

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Deleted it due to lack of common senseSure, that will work well. Treat people like dirt so they’ll use your plugin instead of someone else’s that works.
Why are some people making php upgrades a moral issue for the bloggers instead of the hosts?
On what planet is treating potential customers like garbage a good idea?
Your time is valuable, and we should be happy that you deign to make a free version of anything at all.
You shouldn’t trouble yourself with thoughts of me. I am cured of complaining to developers about anything that I am not paying $$$ for.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] BadgeOS; Badges disappearing in back & front end.I’m also having the same problem, and I’m looking for solutions that are actually plausible.
If you plan out what achievement types and badges you want to offer beforehand, and do the achievement types first, will the badges still disappear, or is it only if you do badges first?
