There are some plugins to show posts on a page, but I think on owni.eu that’s defined in the theme.

Go for the custom template, this will do what you need.

I would do it this way. I moved several WordPress installations with the help of this article without a problem.

Yoast’s article is indeed a great start.
My experience is that the Google XML sitemaps is a great WordPress plugin for letting Google know your site / blog exists.
After that, install Yoast’s SEO plugin or the All in One SEO Pack plugin.
And then, read a lot about SEO ??

I think you are missing an ‘index.php’ page…
But you installed WordPress into the wordpressblog folder, so that works finet I guess?

If you want your website to show when entering https://www.kbradshaw.com, you’ll have to move your WordPress installation. You can find here how to do that.

Do you also use 2 different databases?

Did you follow all the steps like listed here?

Have you looked in “single.php”, “page.php” and “menu.php” (if these pages exist)?

Some of the CMS based themes have some more options. For example, for my blog I use a Woothemes theme. It has some extra functionalities where I should normaly install some extra plugins for.

If you’re comfortable with the dashboard, there’s no need for a change, just keep your theme and install some extra plugins.

Does the page you use as a homepage still exists?
Why don’t you try it again to select a page as a homepage?

When you create websites for clients, the WordPress Dashboard can be confusing for them. That’s why I allways install the CMS plugin by Trendwerk. This plugin removes all the info in the dasbhoard and you can put your own info there.
If you uses WordPress as a blog or website for yourself, then you don’t really have to do this.

Maybe you better contact the template creator.
