So i’ve spoken to who put the website together recently and I have some more information now.

The user that had access was actually a custom role and the permissions were set to that. So now you’ve made some changes, we’ve just needed to update the permissions to the new post type.

Having your own panel to set the permissions would be great, much easier then using a 3rd party solution ??

This effects all pages with or without a Map on them, I did contact the developer and they said:

I can’t say why Autoptimize might not perform as expected, but I can tell you that MapPress excludes its scripts & CSS from AO.

This is because AO mangles the scripts (which are already minified), preventing both MapPress and the Google APIs from working.

You can see the relevant code in file ‘mappress.php’, filter ‘autoptimize_filter_js_exclude’, etc.

Again – the exclusion should only be for the MapPress scripts & CSS, so I’m not sure why it would affect anything else.

So i’m not really sure where to go from here, its the moment I turn the plugin on, AO doesn’t function in the same way.

We also have this issue on a clients website.
From what we can see, the fontawesome font is being called from the wrong folder (webfonts) from the fontawesome.css file.

I think the problem might be back again.
We’ve just updated a customer to 3.6.1 and now the private products are having this issue.
The can see/select the product but when they click “recalculate” it shows “Product does not exist”.

Can I piggyback on this?

We added this line to the theme functions.php file:

add_action( 'woocommerce_order_status_pending', 'wc_maybe_reduce_stock_levels' );
plus some other custom statuses.

Creating manual orders through WC itself works (and reduces the stock) but doing the order through this plugin doesn’t trigger this.

I think this might be a moot point now as Google has released Google Analytics 4 which works differently.

I did post a reply so no idea what happened to it.

When I say “Add on” I mean that people normally add this product as an extra to their order rather than just purchase this product.
As far as Woocommerce and the reports should be concerned, it’s a normal product added to the basket in the normal way.

This doesn’t help, unfortunately. The report is still incorrect and useless.
You can’t really tell me that a report showing 12 orders, approx ￡1,500, 38 items sold (17 where this product), where the product cost is ￡2, is a correct report.

The total is wrong. How can you get a report of the amount sold for a single product?. This total obviously includes all the other products on those orders too.
