In reply to: [Breadcrumb NavXT] Taxonomy shared between two CPTsThanks for providing this great plugin. I have the same issue – a custom taxonomy shared between 2 custom post types. Ideally I would like to replace the “parent” CPT link in the breadcrumb trail with a specific page. Any chance of a code sample to show us the way?
Will check it out. Thanks for your help James!
There is a firewall setting in Wordfence that causes the error
Prevent discovery of usernames through '/?author=N' scans, the oEmbed API, and the WordPress REST API
Once that is unticked the author URL works fine. But am I now open to brute force attempts to discover usernames, and does that matter? When I deactivate Wordfence the link works again
actually they do work when plugins are switched off!
so now I just have to find the one….User ID is correct – it is https://oasishr.com/wp-admin/user-edit.php?user_id=3425. I checked a few other user’s IDs in the format https://oasishr.com/?author=XXXX and all go to 404 page. Just changing the user ID on the admin user-edit URL works fine though. And the query string post URLs work fine too – it just seems to be the author ones that are broken.
Hi! It was reported on 23rd October, but it may have been like that for a while. I’ve disabled the redirect plugins – I was just looking at ways to fix the problem with those. The author link with the query string still goes to a 404. The author’s ID is correct. And the post URL with a query string which is also displayed on the email works fine. https://oasishr.com/?p=54882
Yes, I use Visual Composer and it’d be great to have a VC layout automatically generated in the edit window so the client would just need to add specific details. Currently he has to copy all the VC layout from an existing private page to each new one, before he can add data.

In reply to: [WP Broadbean] how to modify error messagesThat’s a good idea, ta!
But if I wanted to change the actual messages, have you got an example to do that with filters?
Thanks, NickForum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Broadbean] Jobs should expire after certain dateOK, fair enough. My clients have asked for this, so hopefully you can look at adding it in future.

In reply to: [WP Broadbean] Job applications not appearing in BroadbeanGood news – it’s going into BB now!
Bad news – the CV attachment is not going with it…
It’s in wordpress OK, but the email log to BB shows no documents attached.
