In reply to: [Simple Slideshow Manager] Slideshow Not WorkingHi,
I’ve used this plugin for some time now but the slideshow on the site I manage on behalf of a local charity is no longer working and remains on the first image.
We are running version 4.1 of WordPress and I note your plugin only goes up to 4.0.1, is this the reason for the slideshow no longer working?
If so, when will you upgrade?
Kind regards
Nickie
I’ve removed the slideshow for now as the site had to go live and we couldn’t have a slideshow that didn’t work. At present, I’ve inserted a static image as a placeholder until I can resolve this issue. The website is https://www.recycleyourcash.co.uk. Did you need the video URL’s?

In reply to: [Slideshow] slides dont show up in pageHi
I also have this issue, I’ve looked through the FAQs as suggested and my website does have the get header and get footer tags in the coding so not sure where it’s going wrong….do you have any other suggestions? The website isn’t live yet as it’s currently mid build. The client would like a slideshow on the home page which has functionality to add YouTube videos, hence attempting to use this plugin.
Many thanks
Nickie
@plonde brilliant, glad to see it helped ??
Hi Plonde.
Sorry, to clarify, the share it section I’m referring to is actually in Mailchimp (not in WordPress) when you sign into your account there. Go into the list for the form you want to embed on your WordPress page and then go into the form where you normally brand up your forms. The share it section where you can generate the code is there.
If you need anymore help, just let me know.
Nickie
Sorry phone playing up. See example above on my previous post to give you an idea. The CSS references can be found on MailChimp for each field. Hope that helps with that part of your query. Nickie
@mc Nate thanks, but changed field to international phonefield instead of US phonefield. It now looks fine.
@plonde I’m working on a site build at the moment and as we’ve got more than one form, needed to embed the form within the body of a page.
If you look in the form design area, the last section is share it. It gives you a URL to your form but if you look on the right hand side of the , click where it says about getting the html code for your form. It then gives you the options of a form type. I went for classic. There are drop downs for each option such a title and show all fields on your form so you can tailor these. Then just click the generate the code button. Paste top part of code up to comments in top of your page in WordPress and the other part which relates to the actual form below your text, if that’s where you want it. By placing the first part of the coding at the top of the page means you’re won’t affect the CSS for your site. It also gives you the options to add CSS to style the form in this page. See an example
@mc_nate I’m also having trouble with getting my telephone number to appear on one line. Have tried coding above, but this didn’t work. I’m helping our designer with a website build for a client. The mailchimp widget is being used for one form, with the other two forms required placed in another page, and CSS used at the head of the html page where the forms are.
I’ve managed to style the form using the following coding but can’t seem to get the phone number to appear on one line.
<style type="text/css"> #mc_embed_signup{background:#d1d4d3; border:2px solid #011931; clear:left; font: 14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;} #mc_embed_signup .mc-field-group{background:#d1d4d3; clear:left; font: 14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;} #mc_embed_signup .mc-field-group-label{clear:left; font:14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;} #mc_embed_signup input.button{background:#b10021; clear:left; font:strong 14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;} #mc_embed_signup .mc-field-group select{width:300px; height:28px; margin:0px;} #mc_embed_signup .mc-field-group input{border:1px solid #616a71;} #mc-embed_signup .phonefield-us .phonearea input .phonedetail1 input .phonedetail2 input{display: inline !important;} /</style>
Also, in mailchimp our form has a headerbar but I assume this functionality is not available when coding this way direct into a page?
Please can you help?
Many thanks
Nickie
