I finally managed to localize the reason behind the problem – in my particular case, it was the WP Term Colors plugin (last updated three years ago), so it’s obviously not a WC’s fault. Sorry to have bothered you, and thanks a lot for the really prompt response!

@serafinnyc I tried various things to remedy it including deactivating/reactivating and uninstalling/reinstalling WC via FTP. I also tried to deactivate most of other plugins on my site and using WC built-in tools like product lookup tables regeneration, etc. All in vain so far.

Same problem for me. All product categories and a decent part of product attributes just don’t show up in the admin panel, however they are definitely not deleted from the database cause they work as expected on the site’s frontend. I even can see proper category/taxonomy counts in admin but the categories/taxonomies themeselves are not displayed.
Because of this issue, I`m locked in 3.5.7 for now.
Developers, please look into it.
