In reply to: [ShiftNav - Responsive Mobile Menu] Very PromisingHi Chris,
I have things on localserver but I prepared a 2.5 minute silent video to demonstrate. I’m using a theme called Marie that I created, your plugin of course, and a plugin called “Sticky Header by Thematosoup” found in this web sites plugin depository. The responsive breakpoint is at 1099px.
What the video shows:
– The theme/site without your plugin, so the responsive menu is a hamburger button, which slides the page down to display the menu… then the fun begins
– Using the responsive breakpoint of 1099 I’m able to manipulate both plugins to get the desired outcome. with your plugin I can hide the original navigation bar, so no hamburger menu in the responsive views.
It would be great if your plugin would could replace the “sticky header” plugin as well.
Here is the video:
Thanks a million, I wish all developers would be like you. This plugin will definitely find it’s place in my themes either way. Very impressive!

In reply to: [ShiftNav - Responsive Mobile Menu] Toggle BreakpointAs I explained in the review section, you are correct, I was expecting the breakpoint to be a different thing, not the size of the screen.
This is resolved, thanks.

In reply to: [ShiftNav - Responsive Mobile Menu] Very PromisingListen, when you test things at 4am, you do and say stupid things. I don’t know why, but I thought the breaking point was for scrolling down the page like a “sticky” menu. After reading your answer at the support page, I immediately realized if for the size of the screen, as it should.
So, I was putting a value of 100, and expencint the menu to show up, when scrolling down the page by more than 100px, and obviously it was not working. The plugin works like a charm, puting a value of 960 lets say, the menu shows up if the screen size is smaller then 960px, thus making it responsive…
May I suggest also adding a “sticky” breakpoint value, so we can enjoy this beauty in desktop mode as well? So a value of 300, will make the menu to show up after I scroll down the page by 300px. The 2 breakpoints have to be independant from each other of course to work.
In light of my total stupidity, and I have to apologize to you at least a million times, thanks for the quick replies, this plugin deserves 10 out of 5 stars.
Can’t wait for the pro. version…

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Too expensive.I would absolutely agree, if there wasn’t a free option, that did almost the same thing and even with the paid plugins, it’s a one time fee at a fraction of the cost of this plugin). I have no questions about how good the service is, or even how valuable it is. I’m talking about value here.
Is it a good value to spend all that money per year, when there is a free alternative? I’m looking at the whole picture and not just this particular plugin itself.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Too expensive. As a theme developer, coding is not an issue for me.
If I have to choose between some homework and $3,563 per year, I will choose the homework every single time. At worse scenario I’ll buy the plugins you listed for a one time fee, which is fraction of what I had to pay for ManageWP for ONE YEAR. It’s not even a close decision.
And after these discussions, ManageWP deserves 0 stars as an overall value. 1 star seems too high now.
So be thrilled about wasting your money all you want – excellent marketing strategy btw. Best of luck to you too!!!

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Too expensive. The main features of InfiniteWP are free – even though this does not sit well with your agenda. For the premium add ons you listed, I can very easily use free plugins from the WP depository, which will cost me… that’s right, $0. That’s why I say $0.
But even so, let’s say I spend a one time $586 for the add ons that you listed. I manage about 250 sites, if I use your “brilliant” solution, it would cost me $3,563 PER YEAR. That amount again, is PER YEAR !!!

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Too expensive. You might be correct with your last point, my rating was about i’t value compared to Infinite WP, which may be I was wrong evaluating it as a whole, code+value.
ManageWP is very capable, and worthy of 5 stars in my book, but compared to InfiniteWP, value wise, it is not worth all that money. I can do the same for free.
Quote: “You’ll spend hundreds on all the add-ons before even approaching the functionlity of ManageWP.” – Try $0, with InfiniteWP.

In reply to: [Ultimate Wordpress Auction Plugin] Almost perfect.Hi Nitesh.
I guess the best way to explain the “responsive” problem is to post a video. Note that this happens only with the individual auction screens. The listing page is fine.
I really appreciate you considering adding better user management. Let’s not forget a registered is ensured by wordPress that their email address is valid, and it belongs to them.
Thanks and keep up the excellent work,
NickSorry guys, I was out of town. Yes, this is getting much better. A nice start to a plugin that will earn 5 stars over time, when it gets matured.
I am changing my 1 star rating to 3 right now, and hopefully over time it will become 5 stars when the project gets completed.
Thanks for your quick responses too.
Hi guys I have a new video and 2 big questions.
1. Ask before, how do I change the currency question.
2. How can I list a specific auction I created? I can only display the sample pineapple auction. That said, many things got fixed, creating a new auction, upload images, and bid. Hooray !!!
But, some things got broken – Settings, edit current running auctions, BUT only the sample ones, my own created auctions can be edited, so it’s not the end of the word for this.
Ok, let’s get the video rolling. As you can see I have a fresh USBWebserver folder, WP is installed on the root (I’m glad this is going to be fixed and be allowed in directories). I could not test it in ampps as it requires WP to be installed in a directory.
This plugin is starting to look better by the minute…
Thanks,
NickI’m glad you are figuring things out. This plugin looks very promising. In the meantime, can you please indicate what I have to do to change the currency in the code?
Thanks again, I’ll keep posting/making videos to point any other problems in the future.
Nick
Hi guys. Thank you for trying to resolve the issues. Again, this plugin, when the errors get resolved and the plugins matures more, it will be a five star plugin from one.
OK, I tested it locally on 2 environments:
1. Ammps: https://www.ampps.com/
2. Usbwebserver 8.5: https://www.usbwebserver.net/en/On the ampps, the plugin installs, but I can’t upload an image, and I can’t bid. I tried bidding as an admin, or as a subscriber – nothing.
On the Usbwebserver, the plugin does not even activate. I get an error.
Here is a video showing exactly what is happening in both environments. Again, in both cases, clean install with no plugins except the user switching plugin.
Thank you,

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Integration with QuickboksThanks for the info bheadrick. Good to hear that it works well. The cc processing is not an issue with me, as I want the web site to process them and not Quickbooks. As far as a dedicated computer is needed to keep things synced up, it is understandable and obvious.
I don’t know yet if WP with Woocommerce can handle 5-10 thousand SKUs, but if it can without any major performance issues, along with this plugin, it could mean selling complete automated e-commerce solutions for $5,000 – $20,000, as oppose to $1000 – $3000. That’s the importance of all this. Taking the whole system to the next level.
