2) not sure which folder you deleted to create this problem but you can try deleting all the WP install files expect you wp-content folder and upload a fresh copy of WP.

https://www.webpagetest.orgthese tools will help you identify the slow areas of your site and make suggestions. caching plugins alone won’t be enough to reduce the speed. look into adding the site to a CDN such as cloudflare.

If it was just a custom post type without any custom fields I would’ve suggested just nuking it and starting over. Try removing the code from the child theme one function at a time and seeing if you can narrow down which function is causing the error.

In reply to: Import posts into static front page siteGo to tools in the WordPress dashboard to export your posts from the 2nd install. Then in the 1st install go to tools and click import. Install the WordPress importer if you haven’t already then select the exported file from the 2nd install.
