we found a (temporary) workaround rather coincidentally by copying the database tables of the Maps plugin from a testing environment in which the combination of Borlabs Cookie and WP Maps Pro with 1046 markers worked to our productive site.
In that staging environment we found the workaround in a kind of trial and error process.

But we think that this is not a real solution, it could be that after updating the Plugin or reconfiguring the map this issue can occur again.

We defined the code blocker by following the instructions provided by Borlabs, Content Blocker:

window.BorlabsCookie.allocateScriptBlockerToContentBlocker(contentBlockerData.id, “wpgooglemapplugin”, “scriptBlockerId”);

We tried it out using the Chroem browser. The problem still persists. An Editor can’t update or publish events.

We have already contacted the support of Borlabs (before we posted here). They told us that this issues isn’t caused by their plugin.

Maybe this helps:

The rendering of the map and of the page worked with ca. 860 markers. Only after adding additional markers the page and map broke. Then there was a kind of threshold. Only one marker added after the previous 860 markers lead to a crashed page and map.

we can give you an update.

We managed to implement a kind of workaround.

At the moment the WP Maps pro and the Borlabs Cookie Plugin Short code is rendered with 1046 Markers simultaneously.

(We copied the maps database tables from another installation)

This means at the moment the above mentioned page is rendered correctly with blocking the map first.`

But we have to observe this further because we don’t know if this is a real solution.

reagrding 2. When we activate the short code of the Borlabs plugin the whole webpage is not rendered corretly resulting in a blank/white page

The submitted HTML code is corrupted. This is the code fragment which is submitted:

regarding 3. as we stated before in the forum there are no error messages. There are no error messages in the Webrowser console.

We also checked with the hosting provider that there are no error messages on the server (only some warnings , notices) (PHP error log, Webserver error log, Database log)

as we stated before the problem still persists when we activate the Borlabs short code together with WP MAPS PRO Plugin.

We again checked with the hosting provider that on the server there is enough space left for files and databases.

Could you give us furher hints why we encounter issues using the WP MAPS PRO Plugin in combination wiuth Borlabs Cookie with a high number of markers?

yes, we removed the Shortcode for the Borlabs Cookie Plugin on that page with the map.

After reactivating the Shortcode on the page the page is not rendered correctly. The Source Code of the submitted page is

</html>”

In the Developer console are no error messages.

We have now removed the Borlabs Short Code again to get the page get rendered correctly.

The Hook you described “tec_views_v2_single_event_gcal_link_parameters” is the same as in the code example you submitted in a previous post.
It is for manipulating the Google Calendar.

We use Wordrpress Version 6.1 and WP MAPS PRO Version 5.3.5

We did not make any customizations to the plugin.

We are using your WP MAPS Pro Plugin and the Borlabs Cookie Plugin simultaneously first to block the map and then to render the map after the visitor has confirmed to load the map.

At the moment we have deactivated the Borlabs Cookie Plugin Shortcode so that this page is accessible, otherwise the page would not be shown and results in a white page as described above.

There we got the reply that our issue is not within the scope of the support because core files of the plugin are customized and the support service does not cover situations where the core plugin files have been modified.
