But are you intending to sell your food items at both places with same product addons attached to them ?

at the moment, there is no intention to actually link directly to the default wordpress shop page itself, mostly use the food-store menu.
but when viewing the basket, the food items are shown as links to that items single product page, which also has the ‘add to cart’ button. so since they would be able to access the single product page anyway, it makes sense for it to include any add-ons on that page as well. plus we may use the single product page to include more details for it, eg full ingredient list, gallery of images, reviews, related products etc.
so it would be nice if add-ons didn’t have to be configured in two different places, full support for the woocommerce add-ons plugin would resolve all that, plus i don’t know if using both the food-store add-ons and the woocommerce add-ons will cause any discrepancies with eg, id’s/sku’s, stock, etc, i’ve not had time to test with both used simultaneously yet.

if you can add support for the woocommerce product add-ons in a release this weekend that would be ideal from my point of view. ??

ok, i’ve de-activated and deleted the woocommerce product add-ons plugin, and followed the instructions in your link to create the parent and child add-ons, and that’s all working in the pop-up now, but now it doesn’t show the add-on in the normal wordpress single product page.
is there something i’m missing here? or do i also have to use the woocommerce product add-on’s plugin to see them on that page as well?
