In reply to: [WP Author Bio] Add e-mail button for authorsThanks! Just tested it, and with mailto links in the Email field, works great.

In reply to: [WP Author Bio] Add button for other posts by authorThanks! That’s a good workaround for the author link.
Solved my own problem, right after posting. This was happening because I had turned on the option “Limit JS file loading?” for Events Manager (Events > Settings > General > Performance Optimization (Advanced) section). Once I unchecked that option and cleared the caches, the date fields in advanced search for events once again worked correctly.

In reply to: http error in media uploaderI too am having the problem that mohdsh85 describes; after this last weekend, whenever I try to upload images using either the standard media file uploader, I get an http error, but the image file IS uploaded. No error is shown when I use the browser uploader, though the browser shows a blank page, but the file IS uploaded. No record is created for the media in the posts table and the additional versions of the image file are not created. While I can work around this, I’m trying to determine why it has suddenly started occurring in an environment where all of this has worked…

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Link/Unlink buttons not workingThe conflict was with the Rel Nofollow Checkbox plugin; once it was deactivated, the link/unlink tools worked correctly.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Link/Unlink buttons not workingAfter some troubleshooting, in my case I determined that there was a plugin conflict causing this issue. My site was using a plugin that added a checkbox to the dialog for links, so that it was easy to set the links to include the rel=”nofollow” attribute. Once that plugin was deactivated, the links tools work correctly.

Thanks. I do use W3 Total Cache for the site but I cleared its caches as well as my browser cache and tried logging into WordPress with a browser other than the one I normally use–no joy anywhere.
Reported the same issue in other threads…
I also have the problem that no 404 errors are being reported with Better WP Security 3.6.5 on WP 3.8.1.
I’m having the same problem, with the same versions of the plugin and WP. Please advise as to how this can be fixed.

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] search for registered usersI’d like to allow searches for the names of registered users, too–so that visitors can search for blog posts by particular users.

In reply to: [Floating Social Bar] LinkedIn share not workingAnd now that my test servers IS actually web-exposed, LinkedIn sharing there has suddenly started working. And it now works when enabled on the live server, too. I suspect that something on our web servers was causing the problem and that has now been changed. Thanks for all your time on this, and for a great plugin.

In reply to: [Floating Social Bar] LinkedIn share not workingMy apologies; this was supposed to be a web-exposed testbed and I didn’t verify that it was before posting.
