@mplusb I have the same problem, I use page builder by siteorigin and when I put the gallery shortcode in a simple text or visual editor widget appears the issue described above ….

only if I disable the hover effect the images appear correct …

any ideas ?

I need the page to have a Homepage Template and set as Home because I added a header slider there ….. maybe a custom code would work

I like a theme but only have one menu location, is there a plugin to help you create-add more menu locations ?

I’ve see some tutorials but all based in writing code and I don’t want to mess with with that at the moment !

Yesterday I delete wordpress for the second time,

I install again a new clean wordpress, the theme I want (a paid one) and only one plugin, the Wordfence Security.

I typed some data (posts, categories) and upload about 40 brand logo images to the media library.

Today morning I checked the library and already copies of the images are started to create…. so my point is this:

1. I am not looking for a paid theme support here, as I explained above the problem is not the paid theme. (the issue doeasn’t appear on an other same theme wordpress site of mine, with the same hosting provider)
2. I’m not using WPML plugin or any other relative to it
3. I am not talking about thumbnails, the copies are exact the same as the original image uploaded and they are named by the system as I mentioned above
4. The hosting provider checked the domain file for hacking, spam etc and it’s clean.

The only thing come to my mind is that there is a bug … but I could be wrong too.

Mark I deactivated Imsanity leave a few days and check today…. the problems still exists ! there are over a thousand copies created in a few days !

I already contact the theme author and they checked it, they say it’s not an issue from their theme. Already know that this site is for www.remarpro.com community products.
So, I’m trying to find a solution as an wordpress core – plugins issue, not as a theme one

In the other website using the same theme and imsanity plugin too, no same issue occurs.

Any other ideas ? ….

The plugin works for me in 3.4.1 fine

the only thing is that I have set a gmail account to receive the messages thru the form and they appears only in spams
