I need the same answer to this question. I am about to buy the upgrades but want to make sure I can space these better.

So do I have to now manually move an index file and a htaccess file every time I install this? I have other clients not with my hosting asking me to fix this recently too. I am looking for an older version to use in the meantime.

I am having problems with this version too and I have it on over 100 websites so I am quite familiar with it.
I have moved all the access files and it is not fixing it.
Still getting all this:

This sucks. I use this all the time. We need someone to take it over.
I will donate money and I am sure others will too.

Please bring these functions back. To not be able to add borders in a simple manner is crazy. Also everyone keeps mentioning that plugin but that plugin does not work. All the support comments for it say it does not work and it did not work for me.

This does not seem to be working. Ugh WP why did you remove this feature?

I am not sure where to add this change.
I used this plugin and now when I started using All in on WP Security and change the login page, the logo I upload does not show up.
I have genesis hooks plugin so where would I add the hook or change the hook in the code exactly please?

Yes, since I have been with them for years, they were very sweet and actually added my ip for me. After we tried a few other solutions.
They said they were going to contact you with a solution if you could change a setting or something in the plugin.
I have to say they went the extra mile and I was very grateful.

I am still having this problem with clients websites. It shows everything as green and good to go and yet database backup fails.
Any ideas?

I am starting to have the same problem. Gen theme Dec 2013 all items up to date. This is a problem.

Update- This worked for me, remove www. and change it to https://
on your linked in link.
So as an example, on the widget, change this:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/askmepcwebdesign

to this https://linkedin.com/in/askmepcwebdesign

That seemed to fix it on my clients sites.
Weird problem. It puts the actual website name first when you click it and the linkedin id, so of course it does not work.

Hi Lester- I am still finding this more and more as I login to clients websites for other things, I am now checking their backups and I am finding nothing for months.
I need to install that plugin you told me about.
Just wanted to update for anyone else looking into this same problem.
Manually it works fine but the it is not running the set up auto backups.

Yes it works manually. Hmm I wonder if it is hostgator. They have really gone downhill since they sold to EIG. All kinds of things are going wrong for people. I am leaving them shortly.

Same here, does not work in IE. sure we all hate IE but clients still need it to work for whomever uses that browser still.
