In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Header for smaller devicesI resolved this issue by using the Logo block instead of an image block.
Thank you so much – it does. However, I’m a little confused – if I create a link in my newsletter, why would it be converted to go back to the originating website rather than the link I’ve created? I’m missing something here I think!
Hi again
I’ve removed the Uploads plugin and have now successfully sent a number of emails using images uploaded through the MailPoet interface, so it looks like ot was the culprit. Lesson learned!!!Thank you
Hi
Thank you for your reply. It happened again this week. The previews I sent to myself and one other were fine, but when I sent the email out, all the images but one, were missing.
To answer your questions:
1) URLs, in yesterdays email, the top image was already in the media library, the other three were uploaded as I created the email. I think this is the key. The three that were uploaded as I created the email have been uploaded into an extra folder on the server with the name /uploads/2021/09/29/save-the-date-christmas-2021/christmas-holly-berries.jpg. But, looking at the email sent to myself as part of the mailing, the image is referenced as /uploads/2021/09/christmas-holly-berries.jpg, so of course they are not showing.2) I don’t run many 3rd Party plugins, an image replacer and a lightbox are the only ones that affect images, but I did have an antiquated Uploads folder one still active that changes the uploads subfolders to yyyy/mm/post-slug for posts based on the post’s date rather than the current date, and page-slug/subpage-slug for static pages based on the page’s position in the hierarchy. I’ve removed that and will test to see if this happens again without it running.
3) I have save Permalinks.
I will advise after testing.
Many thanks

In reply to: [WP-DBManager] Cannot download backup filesYou were quite right, and this is happening on more than one of my sites. Can you point me to some information that tells me why a database that has routinely been around 6MB in size would suddenly become 32MB? I notice in the table information, 18 of the tables report an Overhead of 74,800.0 GiB, even though most of them have 0 records. Is this something I should be worried about?

In reply to: [NP Quote Request for WooCommerce] Naming of elementsHi
Thank you, I found the error in the Add to Quote labels thanks to taking screenshots, one had been missed on the labels tab, so that seems OK now. Apologies for raising that unnecessarily. However on the Basket page, I still have the words Basket Totals and the message Basket updated when a change is made on that page. I would prefer to remove the Basket Totals and for the message to be Quote updated. Also, on the Quote Request page, there is a title ‘Billing Details’ and if the Submit button is clicked, the error message refers to Billing too, I would prefer that Billing was not mentioned, since this site is only for providing quotes.
Could you point me in the direction of which templates I would need to amend to achieve this please?
Thank you

In reply to: [NP Quote Request for WooCommerce] Naming of elementsThank you for replying so quickly. How curious – I’m seeing no Add to Quote buttons, only Add to Cart – image here https://www.line1towing.co.uk/sample.png .How can that be?

In reply to: [FG PrestaShop to WooCommerce] WordPress on different server to PrestashopHi
Thank you, but my host has managed to import the SQL file successfully. At the moment, I am importing into a test site to see how it goes, I have some questions about the import itself, which didn’t quite do what I expected. Shall I start a new thread to cover those questions since it covers a different subject?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [FG PrestaShop to WooCommerce] WordPress on different server to PrestashopPlease ignore that last bit, the error log is not reporting what I’ve just done, the failure to find the ps_product table was an hour ago when I tried to import using the plugin. So I’m back to being unable to import the tables from the Prestashop to the WordPress database. How do I find out what it causing that?

In reply to: [FG PrestaShop to WooCommerce] WordPress on different server to PrestashopOK, I’ve dropped the imported tables and started again and I got the same Internal Server Error half way through the import from Prestashop database to the WordPress database. Can I send you the log file? It seems to fail on searching for the ps_product table which apparently doesn’t exist?

In reply to: [FG PrestaShop to WooCommerce] WordPress on different server to PrestashopThank you for replying so quickly. It looks like it was something like that – I have just got it to be responsive. It looks like I have a problem with my imported data, I don’t think all the tables were imported correctly, so now I’m trying to find out how to fix that!

In reply to: [FG PrestaShop to WooCommerce] WordPress on different server to PrestashopHi there
I have imported the Prestashop database tables into my WordPress database. I’ve changed the URL and database information to reflect the URL of the site into which I’m importing and the database host, name, username and password to that of the WordPress database. When I click Test Connection, the button flashes, but nothing else seems to happen. The Log still shows the logs from when I tried to import from the original Prestashop site, nothing since.
I have tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin, before I did that, the database connection information kept reverting to the original site information too, that has stopped now.
Can you give me any clue as to what I might be doing wrong? It seems so straightforward. Thanks
