Thanks so much, will try that. Glad to know it’s not a php issue. Thanks again for all your work on this marvelous plugin.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I don’t get error messages, the page just doesn’t show the gallery, it shows a space for the images that don’t come in, it just looks broken.

I flip it back to an old version of php (through cpanel), like 5.6 and all is well again.

I’ve got another plug-in Fat Cat Easy Price Table, that behaves the same way.

I using up to date Genesis, but the theme itself is now getting old (but not sure the theme should matter).

Glad to know yours works, but I’ve got a gremlin somewhere with these two plugins and new PHP versions. Probably a needle in a haystack to find it. I’ve been dealing with it now for a few years and php 5.6 is now getting too old. Arggghhh.

Hi Lap, What do you mean when you say “implicit” I used to use the code below, but it mysteriously stopped working here in 2018,

    <input type=”hidden” name=”mc4wp-subscribe” value=”1″ />,

I also saw this one below the wp4mc website, but it didn’t work, (I did put my specific MC list id in)

<input name=”_mc4wp_lists[]” type=”hidden” value=”mclistid-here” />, also tried putting the name of the MC list and the ID in the brackets, none of this worked.

Are we stuck with the check box, or is there some code like the above that we can still use, is that what you mean by “implicit”

    Thanks.

I used phpmyadmin to delete the content in the option_value field in the table/records you mention above.

I wasn’t sure if you meant delete the entire records or just the fields w/ the old tweets, so I did the latter.

When I use the widget on a page, it now says “Waiting for Twitter… Once Twitter is ready they will display my Tweets again.”

I saw the post on this, but don’t think it’s a twitter rate limiting or cache issue.

I also deleted the plug-in and reinstalled w/ the same result.

    What do you think?

    Thanks.

Hi David – I tried this, found the big file, could deleted it, and now it works! Have been testing last couple days. I did have a scheduled backup hang, but it worked last night (split at 25mb), so call it good.
Seems I need to keep the split at 25mb for it to work, I even tested down to 50mb and it hanged. A lot smaller than my prior setting of 800 mb, must have lost some processing capability at my ISP in the last month.

Thanks so much for your lightning fast response and insight to get me running again.

David – thanks for the super fast reply! I don’t need a reply to this post over the w/e, so have a good one!

I tried what you recommended a couple times and it still seems to hang-up. I updated the log file (changed file name, so original link above points to newest log file with split at 25 mb.

Anything else I can try? or should I check w/ my ISP to see what’s up with the PHP execution performance?

    Thanks.

Hi Alan – I very much appreciate your plugin, relative to crzhrse’s query and your comments. I understand what/why you did for version 4.4. For me the old way didn’t really impact page load too much and was okay, the new way is more time consuming because I have to refresh several times to get all the information. I like a single dashboard approach with only one refresh needed even if I have to wait a bit longer for it up front. (This is similar to what you can build in your Google Analytics account.) It’s convenient though to have this on your WP Admin page. Any possibility of making this a user choice?

I’m just using the image tiles template, here’s a link to illustrate.
    Thanks much. https://nexviewconsulting.com/maxgalleria-test-page/

davydyuk was correct, it turned out to be files that had settings higher than 755. After his advice, I used my ftp client to set all file permissions as he describes on the “wordpress” directory and ensured settings cascaded through all subdirectories, but I must have missed the permissions on the critical file(s), I guess they weren’t in the wordpress directory. My host ran a script that fixed it. Problem is, it took them a week to do it.

Thanks davydyuk for you advice and offer to help!

Plug seemed like it would be very helpful. I tried to use this plug with intent upgrade from 2.7.1 to 2.8.4. It has brought down my entire site, when trying to access my wp admin page or hitting the site externally, I get the same 500 Internal Server error. I’m locked out completely.

I uploaded a backup index.php file via FTP, and changed the name of the plugin directory name (effectively deactivating it), but to no avail. I did back up all, could restore the db using phpMyAdmin (not sure how to do that, assume I “import” the sql bkup file and it’ll over write the one currently on the server).

The auto update in the wp admin panel to update wp version or any plugins never worked – I’m in the the “You don’t have permission to access” crowd on this one. Sounds like a server access error, but not sure, and not sure how to get back in. I’ve put in a request to my ISP, but waiting. I know they don’t really support wp. Any thoughts appreciated.
