If I cannot get the import revenue feature to work, where do I go into the database for WP Ever Accounting to import revenue. I cannot find any tables in the database for WP ever Accounting or revenue.
I have permissions also. My challenge is users doing posts in the backend instead of the frontend. I do not want them moderating others posts, but if I prevent moderation then they cannot log into the dashboard. (Cannot create unique forum roles.) I tried permissions to solve the problem but no luck. So using forum Moderator with Contributor WordPress role. Edited frontend bbPress template code to remove lime links on post.
There may be a way to use permissions to resolve this but then each new user would need to be put into the permissions group and we are using woocomnerce and simple press and not sure how all this interacts.
we currently have 200 users to import once the website is completed.
saying all this capabilities is making it so I can create several WordPress roles, most of which are allowed to have forum moderator backend capability.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] membership levelsBased upon the automatic renewal subscription feature (which is what we wish we could use), there is no way to make renewal of subscription to be based upon calendar year. It appears there is no workaround.
So overall, based upon memberships being based upon calendar year, there is nothing we can do with automatic renewal.
Sadly the organization board has voted to do renewals based upon calendar year, not considering the technical challenges.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Simple Membership] membership levelsRenew Membership Option
If we want members to manually renew their subscription based upon calendar year it looks like we cannot useFixed Date Expiry Access Duration
If the membership level is set to a “Fixed Date” expiry configuration, the account will expire on the specified date, regardless of any new payment made. The member’s expiry condition will not be affected by the new payment.
We cannot use Expire After Access Duration because they join the membership at various times of the year and our membership is based upon the calendar year.
So, it looks like we would need to do what I describe in my first post, create a new membership each year. If that is the case, it appears they would need to renew before the end of the year or they will need to create a new account after 12/31. Is that correct?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Simple Membership] Default protect toipicsI have sent a request like suggested.
BUT
I just installed the bbpress add on. It gives the ability to protect forums and topics. Under forums there is the following:
Do you want to protect this content? I have chosen ‘Yes, Protect this content’. I tested and it does make the forum private to non-members.
BUT when a user goes to post a topic it gives them the option to overdide the forum setting and to protect or not protect the topic and the default under ‘Do you want to protect this content?’ defaults to no. If nothing else is there not a simple code change to make the default to be no under topics? Should be able to easy code change to hide the entire Simple WP Membership Protection option. Is there another forum I need to post in.PS
I should mention all topic posters must be modeastor because I only posting of topics in the backend.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Simple Membership] Default protect toipicsI need to re-word my previous comments.
What I want is this:
A. That the default for topic posts is that they are all protected so need to have an option to protect them.
B. That all membership levels can read and post topics. Non-members cannot read or post topics.
C. Where can I make this happen. If I need to do coding, where and what code would I insert code to make this happen?
D. Next would be where do I go, and how do I remove the text that comes up under the topic that is titled “Simple WP Membership Protection”.
E. I may also be able to protect topics in another manner than Simple Membership so I will still need to remove the “Simple WP Membership Protection” options in the topics post section.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [bbPress WP Tweaks] widget sidebar bbpressI see I can install this shortcode [bbp-topic-tags] for bbpress topics, so I could use this tweaks plugin and put in the bbpress sidebar widget along with search. But again this widget has not been updated.

In reply to: [wpForo Forum] What file for topic contentI just reviewed wpForo Topic Custom Fields and it does not have the ability to add Google maps as a custom field which is the most critical field I need.
So, sadly wpforo forum will not work for me.

I replaced my actual domain with mydomain. I don’t like viewers knowing where my wordpress installation is located.
Actually, I just realized I had went back to older version, after the template problem. So I just now did the upgrade again and same symptoms as originally posted:
no dropdown option for templates and no option to choose categories.Interesting however, when I went to just checked it out, the ability to choose categories is now there.
