Open in a new tab works like charm. The rest (images, icon size) could be figured out by myself. I create a custom “default_de.php” and sized the icon with CSS.

Everything works great now!

I cannot tell you enought how precious your plugin is. It’s a very good solution for creating PDF from posts. Lightweight and based on open standards. The core of the internet. Thank you for all your work!

HOLY! I found the problem. While debugging i disabled the plugin. Shame on me. So bad. I’m sorry.

Now it works!

The only issues i have left:

• the PDF does not contain the featured image
• the button shown a very little Adobe icon. Is there any way to size or change that? Does the shortcode have any parameters?
• would it be possible to open the PDF in a new window/tab?

Additional details: I’m using the WordPress standard FSE block theme Twenty Twenty Two.

I made sure that i’m using 3.9

I tried to embed the shortcode in a single post or a single page which did not work either.

My wish would be to embed the shortcode into the page template so that it’s shown in any post…

So no: it’s not working unfortunately :/

I just tested it but unfortunately the button is not shown or rendered…

I embedded the shortcode as any other but the only thing happening is the WordPress writes the word “mpdfbutton” into the website. Do i miss something?

I will try to embed the plugin into the style of my blog soon and will come back if i have questions.

Can you maybe somehow push the plugin to be compatbile with the current WordPress version? There’s a message on the plugin site that it’s not compatible in the moment.

Thanks a lot for you reply Matthias. Someone from the community already helped me to sort out my issue. It was my fault. The solution was simple: the edit of my .htaccess file was not necessary. I removed my entries and after that anything worked out well.

I now get a clean result revolving my blog with:

But one more thing: is it planned to push the WordPress comments of a thread back to the Fediverse in the future?

I have the same issue and my (new) followers are kind of confused by this. The redirect doesn’t makes sense for them. Also it’s not the best way to “share” the new Fediverse account IMO.

Is this already planned as a future request by now?

Hi @notafilia, this is a bug in WordPress 6.1. It’s not a theme issue.

Workaround (in your custom CSS):

/* WP 6.1 Gallery Bugfix */
body .is-layout-flex {
    display: flex;
    flex-wrap: wrap
}

Hope it get’s fixed in the next WordPress Update so the CSS can be removed.

Unfortunately i’m not a developer ?? Still i think this enchancement would be a valued thing. Many posts have no comments and it would be usefull to list them in that order.

That would be a useful feature for an update i think. At least 2 or 3 variations, since all other plugins are offering something like that for their contrast mode (dark mode). It might help to spread the acceptance of your work.
