In reply to: [Font Awesome 4 Menus] Little square before the icon ?That means the icon is not loading. It is usually the cause of one of two things – either the icon class is mistyped OR the icon font is loading from a server that doesn’t have the proper CORS policy (only an issue if you’re loading the font from a different domain other than your site or the official CDN).
The plugin was updated just now to Font Awesome 4.7 so if you were trying to use any of the 41 new icons included in the latest update, they would not appear until you update the plugin.
Can you both send me a link to the sites where this is happening so I can check it out?

In reply to: [Font Awesome 4 Menus] Icons No Longer Showing After 4.6.3.3 UpdateHey beermoney. I looked at your site. Your “Standings” link is using a class of “sf-sub-indicator” which is not a Font Awesome class. This is being generated by your theme which seems to have some built in class for dropdowns so you’ll need to bring up the issue with them. Good luck!

In reply to: [Font Awesome 4 Menus] Two icons displaying intsead of one!I believe the Canvas theme has Font Awesome 4 Menus built in so I don’t think you need our plugin with your site. Try to deactivate our plugin and see if just one set of your icons remain. But this is definitely a conflict with the theme, not an error in the plugin. (A custom Nav Walker or something is hijacking your menu)

In reply to: [Font Awesome 4 Menus] Display a Warning after upgradeHi folks. Can you tell me what version of PHP you’re running? I need to dive deeper into this because I can’t recreate the issue.

In reply to: [Font Awesome 4 Menus] Missing Argument nav_menu_css_class@coolwind38 – please start a new thread, but this is likely a theme or plugin conflict. The line you reference is pulling the classes from the WP Nav Menu classes. If another plugin or theme modified that, it could be causing the problem.
Can you try deactivating other plugins and switching your theme to twentysixteen, and then report back? (If you do that and still get errors, let me know what version of WordPress you’re using. Thanks!)

In reply to: [Font Awesome 4 Menus] Missing Argument nav_menu_css_classI’m seeing a fix to implement for versions prior to 4.1, but I’m not getting any errors running twentysixteen with no plugins at or above 4.1. Please let me know if it ends up being a plugin/theme conflict. Thanks!
