In reply to: [Content Scheduler] Version 2.0.5 not workingThanks so much for the speedy reply! No other details or error messages, it just stopped working and reset all existing expiration dates to 12/31/1969.
We are using a standard date format (F j, Y) but a custom time format (g:iA). Note the only deviation here is that there is no space between the time and the AM/PM.
In the meantime I’ve gone back to a backup copy I had of 1.0 that included the edit suggested here, and things are working for now. However, this has now messed up all the expiration dates again, changing them to a string of numbers that probably represent a date. I’m in the process of changing those back, but if an impending update of Content Scheduler might fix this, I won’t take the time to make all these manual changes.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Esplanade] Embedded media problemsJody, we ended up going with a new theme. No plug in should be needed to display embedded videos, it’s built in to WordPress, but for some reason we recently began having problems when we were using the Esplanade theme. When we changed the theme, the problem resolved itself.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events have all disappeared after installing 3.8.1Okay…sorry I panicked there! Turns out it was another plugin that broke the Events Calendar. FYI, the offending plugin is a paid plugin called Advanced Post Types Order. I’ll be redirecting my complaint in their direction!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events have all disappeared after installing 3.8.1Found 3.8 and reinstalled it, but all my events are still missing…is there an easy way to restore my previous events and customizations? I’m guessing they’re somewhere in the deactivated 3.8.1 plugin files?

In reply to: [Content Scheduler] No email being sentI’m having the same problem. I’ve also applied Jochem’s fix, and it worked perfectly for a couple of weeks, but not now. It doesn’t send an email, and it also doesn’t seem to be expiring posts; I just saw one this morning that should have expired yesterday but hadn’t. I thought it might be a time zone/Daylight Saving Time issue, so I reset the expiration time back an hour, then two hours, and eventually 24 hours but the post just wouldn’t expire.
I’m running WP 3.6 (yes, I know I should upgrade) so I don’t think anything has changed in WP; 3.6 doesn’t automatically apply minor WP upgrades like the newer versions do. Host is GoDaddy. Any help would be much appreciated!

In reply to: [Content Scheduler] Throws Fatal ErrorJochenT, you are most awesome! Working for me now, too. Thanks so much for stepping in and offering a solution. This is/was a great plugin and I’ve missed being able to use it.

In reply to: [Google Forms] Captcha not preventing spamThanks for the suggestions, Mike. I appreciate your quick response! Haven’t upgraded anything lately because we’re running WP on a Windows server and upgrading to WP 3.5x requires kid gloves. Guess I need to just take the time to do that and get everything up to date. In the meantime I’ll try a page break. Thanks again for your help!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Troubleshooting a specific formThanks for your reply. I should have said I’m getting the “red box” error, Sender’s message was failed to send. I’ve customized the actual error message, but I’ve always done that with no problem. I took the post with the form offline until I can get this working right, but if you need to see it I’ll publish it. Thanks again for your help.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Troubleshooting a specific formBy the way, after posting this I removed the parentheses within the radio Payment option field, but that didn’t fix things.
For what it’s worth, I’m having similar problems and GoDaddy has been no help. I can publish posts/pages, but can’t upload images or upgrade/install plugins. I’ve had limited success uploading images on the backend. Last week my FTP was messed up and on Saturday my site was down, and on Saturday my WP problems began, so I have to believe all these issues are related. Sorry I don’t have an answer for you, but I do feel your pain!
