Oh hi Michael, thanks. I copied and pasted into word2 so i can see all the lines. but i refer to the above again. I haven’t a clue what to replace the errors with..

ok i found the source at bottom of page but i still dont know how to change the errors. it highlights what the error is but i don’t know what to correct it with.

Podz, how did you find those urls? if someone visits my site and wants to subscribe to my feed (right word?) how do they do it if there are no links or buttons on there. I get what you say about the plugins and what they are..I wish Ic ould get my head around all this, I should have chosen the id..code_illiterate_newbie..ha

I downloaded Subscribe-me-plugin. INstalled as directed and activated but I don’t see anything in my sidebar.. Am I supposed to do something else. HOw do I set up my rss on my webpage. so people can subscribe to me. I have looked at all the downloads for rss but I don’t know the language so I don’t know if they are for me to subscribe to others or vice versa.

ok, I figured it out..duh. I won’t even tell you what I figured out..too embarrassing, so easy. thanks for all the help

I accessed the plugin for rss from yuor site. I installed the contents into plugin and activated it..is there something else I need to do? It isn’t showing up on my site..

HI Petit,
I can click on the html button and a box pops up for me to write and edit the html. if i choose to use the plain text editor on the “write” page, there are no quick tag buttons..It’s all right after all. I saved a list of quicktags from a website so i can copy and paste when i need to..thnx, Laurie

Hi POdz..if the wysiwyg editor is the html button then yes. I can edit the html and I can insert the tags there. I tried it. I just thought there were quicktag buttons on top of the textbox..that’s what wordpress says in it’s directions..also the advanced option isn’t there either

I changes permissions to 777 but still cant seem to see the changes made in editing on the site. and those words “if this file was writeable you could edit it” are still at the bottom.
