Thank you very much! It didn’t help. But right now, I’m convinced it is more of a gridbuilder Problem as the regular WordPress search ( /?s=searchme ) works fine, only the text search of gridbuilder doesn’t. But as I can’t really get any help, I will remove the text search and get on with my life. Thanks for your effort and time!

Even though I don’t fell you would need a diagnostic test because this error is happening on ALL sites and (i tried) with at least two different contact form plugins. But if it helps you and us, here you go

Thank you, seems it only takes a bit of patience. I updated to WP 6.2.2 and after that I checked again and the logs were ok. Don’t know yet if it was just that some time had to pass or if it was the update. But all is good now. Thanks!

@haseeb0001 not working. Still the reply to is the sender address and not what was expected. Rolled back to 2.2.3 :-/

@haseeb0001 same problem here. I am really getting reluctant to use post smtp, because it feels like there is a new bug all the time. But I love it, it’s a great plugin….

@haseeb0001 sorry, I don’t think I can do that, as the site is on shared hosting and I’m not using SMTP connection (planning to, but not right now). So I have no idea how I could change the port for the hosting account.

I am sorry that I have to come back to this, but there is still one provider that is still showing the issue, even with version 2.3 of post smtp active.

Problematic configuration seems to be: PHP 8.x, No SMTP (out of the box configuration)

This happens only on the shared hosting of ONE provider (Hetzner) so far. All other previously problematic sites seem to work with the new version.

Do you have any suggestion, what I might do, to fix this? Can’t use SMTP sadly.

Using the fixed beta version helps, but none of the newer versions works.

Any news on the issues with BackupBuddy and Post SMTP when combined?

I am having the same problem as @haseeb0001 on many of my sites. Sometimes the backupBuddy menu disappears,sometimes a fatal error is thrown.

Many problems with the combination of those two plugins in particular. I already wrote to BackupBuddy support… will have to remove one of them soon when hosts start forcing PHP8… Hope you two teams can fix those issues soon!
