@dutu, Please install and activate the “User Role Editor” plugin and activate the plugin.

That should resolve the issue for you.

You should be able to deactivate that plugin and delete it also and things should continue to work, we’re (bbPress) investigating the root cause of this and will follow up any further in the our ticket tracker Trac that @t-p has mentioned:

FYI: I’m guessing bbPress might continue to fail this PHP7 test for a while, the NBBC 3rd party library included in bbPress won’t be updated for a while, I’ve just not the time at the moment.

By posting a follow up reply to a topic and checking the Notify me of follow-up replies via email checkbox also has no effect, it will not update your subscription status of that topic.

I’ve no idea why, but having just SSH’d into my server the log files showed nothing related. So I’d thought I’d click update again and I would be able to see the latest log entries from tailing all the logs, clicked update, update worked this time /shrug

I’ll close this as resolved but you should bump Compatible up to: 4.1.13 to Compatible up to: 4.6 if you believe it works with 4.6.

And double check those deploy scripts because you should not be tagging ~30 versions each time you update the plugin on plugins.svn.www.remarpro.com
