In reply to: [WP-Spreadplugin] No articles in Shop. Please rebuild cacheHi Thimo,
I created it last weekend, one guy of our sports club has designed a couple of nice shirts and we want to open this for purchase on our website ??
Any ways around the “configuration glitch”?

In reply to: [WP-Spreadplugin] No articles in Shop. Please rebuild cacheOK … I was playing now for 3 hours, getting no products but also no error message. Seems it has to do with that so called “new user area”. ??
Is there any way to switch the user area to the working one? Or plans to make this plugin work with the new one?
VBR,
Marco@reddalek I’ve switched to AccessPress Facebook Auto Post. But I can’t reimport comments … I did not find any plugin which does that.
If the plugin was sold then it seems the new owner has no time/interest. Interesting why someone gives money for something he won’t take care of … ?!?
Cool … I changed one site to a different plugin yesterday due to these permanent error message(s) and now I saw the fix here.
But honestly I’m not sure if I’ll return to this plugin. In the past this was really highly maintained, and now there’s no update for more than a year. Seems Marcel has no time anymore for his plugin, which I really liked. In my opinion it’s still a question of time until the next issue appears after a FB change … this bug should have been addressed before hundreds of sites run into the error.
Just my 2 cents ??

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Privacy] Changing privacy level after updateIt’s not working even if i log in as a user.
In this case i see the change dropboxes only behind my own post – but still when i change them, nothing happens … and after a F5 the previous state is still there.
May this be some issue as i use a different (german) language? In my dropboxes there are also not the graphics before the words (“Anyone”, “Logged In Users” etc.).
My dropboxes only show just the words: (“Jeder”, “Angemeldete Benutzer”, “Meine Freunde” etc.). There are no graphics like the “globe” image in front of these words.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Privacy] Changing privacy level after updateHi @meg@info,
Sure, can you give me any contact where i can send you the test account data?
Just to be sure that we talk about the same effect: I really see all the dropboxes to change the old activity events, and i can also change the dropboxes of the old activities. But what’s missing is a “submit” button to send the new dropboxes settings to the server.
Setting the values and then submit a new post works – but how is the simple change of a dropbox of an old activity posted to the server? There is a kind of “update” button missing …

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Privacy] Changing privacy level after updateFirst thank you for this great plugin!
I face a similar problem with version 1.3.
If the privacy is set before sending the post, it works fine. But in the activity stream there are dropboxes near each post which belongs to the user to change the privacy afterwards.Unfortunately changing the dropboxes does exactly nothing. Seems like a button “update settings” is missing here. The best would be of course if a change of a dropbox setting would directly send the change to the server.
Any way to use this feature (or at least to disable it as this actually will worry the users)?
Thanks!

A fast fix is highly appreciated!Nope, i’m running my root server where l’m alone … with <10% average CPU load ??
Hi Marcel,
actually updated to 1.114. ??
Experience is good overall up to now. In most cases the delay has gone, sometimes after no access has happened for half an hour or so, it’s hanging around about 8-10 seconds before the page appears. Actually i have no idea what’s causing this – but before the CRON change to your plugin this happened quite more often.
I’m running the WP cron every minute by a real cron task on my server.
Great, thanks!
Did it that way, page load seems really faster (as even without the plugin activated). I’ll monitor that now, also the function of the plugin.
Do you have suggestions about how often i should call the wp-cron.php? Actually i’m doing it every 5 minutes, or should every minute be better?
