The problem is this – when I click activate Wordfence blocks me and does not activate, when I give myself back access by renaming the file in my ftp account the plug in isn’t active and thus, I can’t change the options.
The chain of events is this
Download Wordfence
Click Activate
Get lockout error due to too many attempts
rename file in FTP
Go back to wordpress dashboard
No active wordfence/no options to access
It’s as if the plug in is blocking me from activating it.
