That did it, Andrew!! Thank you so much!!
I see now. It’s not fine when I go through Google Chrome, but once I read your response I checked it through Internet Explorer and it was fine there. Are you looking at it through Chrome. I wish you could see what I am seeing. There is no white background at all. Everything is brown like the sides and the words are black so they can barely be seen. Any idea what I need to do? I’m just wondering now why it would look fine through Explorer but not Chrome. Strange.
Thanks so much for your response!
It says “An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.” However, when I click the link, there is no link to update again. It says the theme is all up to date. There is nothing there needing an update.
I just put the widget back in and it worked! Everything underneath showed up. Yay!
I’m not sure why it did what it did last night, but I’m glad to see it’s working again.
Any updates on when the scrappy update will occur? Scheduled to launch soon and getting a little antsy… I don’t know how to do anything “manually” so it’s been a waiting game for me.

In reply to: Scrappy by Caroline Moore has html code errorHi! I’m new to wordpress and blogging. I have the scrappy theme and wanted to know if there is a way to spread the page out just a little bit in order to have less brown on the sides. I am not super tech-y, so I hope whatever I need to do isn’t too difficult. If so, it will stay as is. I don’t want to screw anything up! :o) Thanks for any assistance!
