    I’m also interested in this.

Thank you for such a prompt, thorough and helpful reply. I did the check as suggested and it was BPS causing the error but the first solution you provided solved the problem. Much appreciated.

To get back in via FTP you may be able to simply rename the plugin. That would disable BPS.

Have to change your admin login to something other than ‘admin’? If you haven’t done that yet I would HIGHLY recommend creating a new user with admin capabilities with a user name that is unique to you and then log out and back in as the new admin and delete the admin named admin. You probably have spam bots using admin and trying to brute force their way into your site thereby locking you out.

    Little update.

The metal csv imported and assigned the correct images.
The plastic is still assigning the wrong image.

    Wow…pulling my hair out….

I have a set of 30 products. 15 are made of plastic 15 are made of steel.
I tried an import of all the products and things weren’t importing correctly at all. Products aren’t showing in the cat section or the shop. Re-saving the product does make it appear in the cat page. Didn’t check the cat.

I went back and updated the headers as is mentioned earlier in this thread. I added the post_name (permalink) to the csv and still no go on the showing in cat or shop pages. I’ve also messed with my permalink settings thinking this might be the issue with product not showing in the cat and shop pages.

(I fixed the above, after writing all this, by removing the ! from the class-woocsv-product.php as mentioned by freeaanzee)

The following is still a problem.

Then as some point in trying to get things imported the wrong photos started getting assign to the wrong product. ie. The photo for the metal version was attaching to the plastic.

I split my csv in 2… plastic only and metal only.

Now, when I import, for example the plastic only, it’s assigning the first 2 with the correct photo but the other 13 are getting the image for metal assigned to the plastic. Strange as hell.

When previewing the file before hitting import it is showing the correct image but it’s still attaching the metal image.

    plastic = blk-cga.gif
    metal = m-blk-cga.gif

I cleared the cache, installed a db optimizer to clear out revisions etc. and it is still attaching the metal image.

I’m using OpenOffice to create the CSV and UTF-8 is set to convert in the settings.

Here is a list of my headers…

    ID sku post_name post_status post_title post_content post_excerpt category tags stock regular_price sale_price weight length width height tax_status tax_class stock_status visibility backorders featured manage_stock featured_image product_gallery shipping_class comment_status ping_status menu_order

I’m using the latest versions of WP and WC.
I have the Better Plugin Compatibility Control plugin installed and it shows that the CSV import plugin is supported only to 4.2.2. Could this be causing this problem?

    Ok… It’s a different problem…

The offset in Chrome is ‘off’.

In chrome I have to put in a negative offset to bring the bar ‘back up’ to the top of the page. When I do that it then pushes the bar off the top of the page in the other browsers.

Issue appears to be in the css for the Chrome browser. Any tips on a quick fix?

And one last question… What would I put in the css box to increase the font size? I’m familiar with css just not exactly how it works within this plugin.

    Thanks again…Nice work.

Have you found a solid solution to this question? I’m also looking for a verified owner uploaded image review.

It would be nice to create a portfolio page from the uploaded images.

    Any luck?

I’m on Hostgator and getting the same problem.

Running Genesis framework on a shared hosting plan.

James… how will this effect the plugins?

    (@nes-native-english-services)

Kathy, did you give this a go? What were your results if you don’t mind me asking. I seem to have the same problem.

@rashed – How would you stop the edit from being over written in an update? You eluded to the idea of putting the option in an update…Any ideas on when that might be?

Also, I need to edit the background text on the submit form. Can you lead me in the write direction? Where would I find that text in the file structure.

I don’t want to give them a choice but I’d like to send them to a specific category.

@lloicles – Did you get this dialed in?

    (@nes-native-english-services)

Is there a way to recover and go back to the old version from a cpanel backup?

I had long descriptions written and everything. This is SOO hurting me right now.

    Anyone?

This just sucks… I’ve spent the last couple hours trying to find my ‘plugin’.
While I know it’s not good practice I keep a couple of duplicate plugins installed but not activated.
I just came across my tables not working and went looking for the problem. I go for my plugins and notice only 1 tables plugin but it’s not activated. I activate it and the tables are gone. (I too am just after an update)
I create a dummy table, to get the short code to verify that this is the plugin that I was using…because some weird crap is going on here when all of a sudden there isn’t an active table plugin. And the one I did have used a different short code.
I go for the table short code and it’s…. [rpt name=”special-mods-for-special-children”]
The short code I have in my page is [dk_pricing name=”special-mods-for-special-children”]
Am I going batty and I’m confusing this plugin with another? Did you change the short code?
If so I’ve also got quite a bit of css to change also.
    Plus it was translated…

If I’m wrong about this, anybody got any clue which pricing plugin I was using? This is too weird for me to get my head around and I can’t find what I need.

Didn’t get a chance to try it….Will in the future. Great Plugin!
