• Hello,

We have multiple sites that we need to switch analytics accounts on, however there is NO option in the yoast analytics plugin to remove a tracking code. Disabling and uninstalling the plugin does not work either, the tracking code remains in the source code of the site, and upon reinstalling the plugin it shows its already tracked to an account…

Can anyone shed light on where the Yoast plugin inserts the tracking code? I checked functions.php, header.php, footer.php and I cant find it.
    Please help!

  • I have the same issue since I want to switch to google tag manager. Deleting the plugin does not remove the tracking code and also can not locate it in the editor.

Same problem here! I want to use a different google acount, but there seems to be no way to change it.

For me the tracking code just doesn’t show… I may be lucky!
I delete this useless plugin now.

Can someone provide any advice on the above issue. I have a similar problem. Is there a way we can remove tracking only from one link and leave the code for the rest of the external links?

Any advice on that? I guess if we had someone with an advice on the original question, that would sort of solve my problem too.

    Please someone help!
