Which version of the plugin are you trying to upgrade to? The most current version is 2.3.2

At this time the results are only available on the registrars website that completed the domain look up. Adding on-site results is something we are considering / working on. Whether or not this will be included in a future release is still undecided.

Shortcode support has been added. You can create a domain search bar with the following:

[domain_search]

This will configure the domain search form with the default settings. For instructions on how to customize the shortcode go to the plugin page in the repository and click the “Installation” tab.
