You mean it still tried to update to 2.9.2? I have run the update several times, but I don’t seem to have reverted. I’m still running the RC2. But that may explain how it keeps saying update available, if it keeps trying to install, but can’t because 3.0 RC2 is a newer version….

I also get the exact same thing if I upgrade manually. The upgrade happens, but the alert still says updated version available.

Its rather pointless if this url is going to serve 2.9.2 IMO – what’s the point of having a development version at all? I don’t think they would do that, though I haven’t actually checked the code of what I download…

I don’t have the Beta Testers Plugin. I simply installed the development release. I am a newbie. Is that going to be a problem? Should I still install the plugin even though I’m already on the development release? Is that preventing updates?

Thanks bestofblogger and styleperson, this helps. Made the area behind the main content more opaque. So its more like black on white with an arial font. Is there an improvement? Would upping the font size help?

Horribly unhappy with Zikula

Hi,

I have category slugs in the url. This means that if a post is filed under three categories, it is accessible through three urls. Duplicate content!!!

Any ideas?

Frandorf, I understand your frustration. Google can get really confusing at times (not that I understand it much either). Take a look at these different back linking stats I have, all collected at the same time…..

Basically, what that means is that Google Blog Search hasn’t recorded any back links.

Like Otto42 says, it doesn’t mean much, as Google Blog Search is not the one whose back links do anything to your rank or traffic or anything, it is rather disappointing to not have so many links you have not visible to their spider.

One drawback to this is obviously, if there are links to your blog you don’t know about, this is unlikely to help you find them, which kind of defeats the purpose of its being there….

Try the Technorati Incoming links plugin…..

Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about it, so it might be best to ignore it.
