Yes, we will ensure the plugin remains functional regardless of whether the block editor is present or not. It will be coded to seamlessly accommodate both scenarios: optimal if there’s a block editor, and just as effective if there isn’t.

Yes, that issue is a known bug with AnsPress categories not functioning correctly when using the block editor for templates. We’re currently developing an update that will ensure AnsPress is fully compatible with the block editor, along with introducing numerous new customizations.

Are you using a custom theme or a theme from the WP.org? can you share link to your site or can you create a test site in WP playground (if this is a free theme).

It appears that the issue isn’t directly linked to AnsPress, but rather to a plugin responsible for tooltips, as it’s interfering with the HTML. To resolve this, consider disabling any plugins or scripts associated with tooltips.
