In reply to: Goole Analytics Summary does not appear in the WP control panelHello George! I will return to what I said earlier. I uninstalled Google Analycator. I’ve since tried two WP plugins that bring Analytics data to the WP control panel. Monsterinsights worked, but brought a lot of information I didn’t need. Analytify would have insisted on intervening in the WP code, which I did not consider worth the benefit.
Is it that those add-ons are unnecessarily versatile for me? I just wanted a simple visitor graph, nothing more. Full Analytics is viewable in the browser and just a click away. I can settle for it if all the plugins bring a lot of unnecessary data to the WP control panel. Continue looking for an add-on? What do you think?
Hello Asad. Is there really a need to add some code to WordPress? This is pretty complicated for me. The goal when it comes to simply displaying simple visitor graphic measured by Analytics in the control panel. I already have one click to access the Analytics dashboard. I have been advised that Analytify or similar is the simplest way to get the graph I want to the WP control panel.
I foud allso this:

In reply to: Goole Analytics Summary does not appear in the WP control panelThank you very much for your reply. This solved the whole problem and I know what to do. I remember seeing a quick flash message that some add-ons had not been tested with the latest Windows. I didn’t pay any attention to it then. Only this, that the graph disappeared, woke me up to investigate and correct the matter. Thank you!

In reply to: Article-specific link to similar other postsTerve bcworkz! There was something wrong with YARRP. It presented a reply asking the reason for the deletion. The “Submit and Deactivate” pushbutton on this tag did not work. Only the “Cancel” button worked and could not be advanced. Someone also asked about the support of the supplement. Then, after a few days, it started working and was deactivated.
Machine translations: Your friend’s knowledge of Google Translate for Finnish may be slightly older. In the past, indeed, the machine translation into Finnish was downright amusing to read. Now this spring, when Google introduced artificial intelligence in connection with it, the situation improved considerably. The text is completely understandable and is no longer like a joke. Of course, human translation is always better, but it is also guaranteed to be slower when written.
The text can also be written to take into account the limitations of machine translation. I hope that the designers of WordPress plug-ins, for example, will take this into account. Today, a larger market is being sought than native English speakers. The text written for the translation is usually also understandable and clear anyway. A professional should have the courage to write simply without decorating their text with difficult expressions. (Says journalist Neptun)

In reply to: Article-specific link to similar other postsKiitos! Thanks again for the advice bcworkz. I’m currently searching for and trying out extensions you’ve linked to. I hope you find help. I have tried the YARRP add-on before. It – or I – didn’t get linked to article images related to the headlines. Deactivating it also proved problematic. At that point, I put the message here because it wasn’t known correctly to others like it.
I believe that using your link extensions and following your advice will get results.
(It’s hardly worth studying Finnish. It’s hard. A Swedish language is a completely different matter. I wonder Google Translate’s artificial intelligence is so capable of about good translation in English-Finnish and Finnish-English.)
So that Terve!

In reply to: Article-specific link to similar other postsThanks a lot for the advice bcworkz! I hope I understand that advice and look into the links you put. However, already here I will clarify what I am aiming for. Two pictures of it. (The site is in Finnish, but it has an automatic English translation button on the label.)
Figure 1 shows my current normal practice of highlighting other related articles. So these are article-by-article manually installed links. They usually also have links to other articles that may be of interest to readers even if they are not directly related to the topic.

Figure 2 shows a Google Ads Relevant Content ad. It therefore contains some advertisements and some similar postings selected according to algorithms. The choice is not very apt. As of March 1, 2023, content links will no longer be published, only ads. Such a structure is needed for article-specific use; title and image links preferably in two lines, each with 3 pieces. They would be selected manually because the links would contain more than similar
content.https://www.dropbox.com/t/dTCNowa2gh0smFgx

I hope the description explains what I am aiming for. I am not very good at making demanding solutions. That’s why I like to use add-ons that make even complex things easy. If I were skilled, I might already have been able to make a table a template, which I would then fill in with headings and article images. Still grateful for all the advice.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Using WPS Hide LoginHello Cris,
You are definitely right. Too bad you’re not lucky enough to help. However, this was the case. When the site was subjected to severe and constant bombardment from Asia, I had no choice but to turn to a web host. Now it’s not worth changing it anymore, because it’s okay. It cost 20 E, which of course is not returned by the web host.
It should be mentioned that after trying the hide login I tried to change the .htaccess file myself. There is also a WP add-on for this change or was it a utility that should make it easy. Be that as it may, I also did not get the change done.-:) Later, when I look at the new .htaccess file made by the web host, it is quite different from what that add-on was doing as instructed.
Everything would be easy if there was knowledge and experience of the problem at hand. Well, that’s the experience here all the time. Thanks for the info and good luck!

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Using WPS Hide Loginshinerweb; Thanks for the answer. The process is as follows: I tried two different WP add-ons that had to remove the login page. However, they did not work. The first did nothing (even updating it a long time ago), and the second did not delete the page. So I asked the web host of my site to delete it using an .htaccess file. This was done and now the login page no longer appears under the thing is okay. I’m sorry that WP has add-ons that don’t work with the latest WP installations. And the fact that they have no support at all to ask for anything. I hope for tighter controls and pruning of add-ons

In reply to: Add-on support no longer worksHere’s more information about a broken RSS feed. The feed may not be working because its address was not validated. The W3C review program reports that ”This feed does not validate”. I have sent the information Follow.it support, but I have not as yet received any reply.
The W3C identifies four small errors that prevent the site from being validated. They’re about programming, which unfortunately I don’t control, so I could fix the bugs. Do you have any information on how to proceed to validate my WP site feed?

Feed URL that could not be validated: https://follow.it/neptunet
I am grateful for all the tips.

In reply to: Add-on support no longer worksThanks to everyone. The follow.it plugin is the first link you send. Its name is RSS Redirect & Feedburner Alternative. The point was that the investigation was interrupted unexpectedly and without any notice.
Let’s take a little extra time to figure it out. I will try to open the new tickett and try if it progresses.

Now (22.12.20 at 13.50 Finnish time) the scan seems to work! The scan once took a short break because my browser connection had to be confirmed. However, for the sake of certainty, I will be sending a diagnostic report that has been done right now.
Thanks a lot for the help!
I tried to do the code installation so it turned out that it is of no help. It is already in a hidden htaccess file. However, it will not work without the LiteSpeed server (IfModule LiteSpeed). The server I’m using doesn’t have it.
This means is therefore no use. The Wordfence Current blocks page has 7 blocks I sometimes set. Should they be removed? Is there anything else I can do?
