Yes, it works. Thank you so much for all your help.
Thank you. I have just one additional question. What kind of CSS should I use to enforce hyperlink underlines for those 3 small URL labels (Imprint, Cookies EU etc.) under the banner’s buttons? My theme seems to override and remove all underlines for hyperlinks in the banner.
Thank you so much. It really helped me.
Unfortunately, we can not upgrade to WordPress 5.x as our custom plugins and themes on our production site are not compatible with WP 5.x.
I have downgraded the GiveWP on our site to v2.9.1. That’s the last version of Give that works on WordPress 4.9.x without issues. The only bug in v2.9.1 is the Manual Donations plugin when a zero donation ($0.00) is entered. This will produce a 500 Error. This issue has been resolved in Give 2.9.4 but as I said, this latest version of Give throws 5xx errors during deletion of donations. The issue with 0 donations are not a problem, so we will stick to this version of Give for some time.
Give 2.9.2 and higher versions are unable to delete donations on WordPress 4.9.x installations and it has something to do with the changes in the Give core.

In reply to: [Print, PDF, Email by PrintFriendly] Button PositioningConfirmed. Button aligning is completely botched in the latest plugin update. For me, the button is always centered, no matter what the setting is.
Thank you, it’s fixed now.
No way, no chance, I give …up. I had to revert back to Give 2.5.4 but as I noticed, according to the change list there’s a security issue that has been fixed in 2.5.5, so now I can just wait who will hack my site. Thanks, really thanks.
Edit: Thanks for your reply. I hope this issue will be fixed soon.

In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] Edit Comment missing for usersYep, we have the same issue. Only admins can see the “edit” option in comments. Users and non-regged users can see nothing.
In addition, this error is being displayed for people who live in non-EUR countries:
Make your choice:
[ ] 3,00 EUR
[ ] 5,00 EUR
[x] 10,00 EUR
Error message “{transfer/inc/fundingOptionDisplayName.fundingType.displayName} 10,00 AUD”After selecting any amount from the list, the error is displayed immediately and when people ignore this error and proceed with the donation, it is processed as an AUD donation by PayPal.
Well, I do understand this measure is intended to handle the entire GDPR hysteria but this process of hashing has knocked down our production site and rendered our MySQL server completely inoperable. We have hundreds of thousands of comments in our database btw.
We don’t run our site on any “hosting service” but on a dedicated server which serves thousands of people every single moment. That may seem OK for some small private blog to bring it down for a couple of minutes and wait fot the hash process to be completed but a commercial production site must be running without any significant impact. Therefore some limiter should be put in place in terms of how many hash cycles/comments is processed at once per minute in order to prevent the MySQL infrastructure from reaching its bottleneck. At this moment the newest version of this plugin behaves more like a hash stress test.
If you put some hash-per-minute limiter into the code of the next release of your plugin, we will gladly give a chance to it again. For now we’re sticking to v5.0.7 which works absolutely perfectly.
After installing this new version, our site has collapsed in 30 seconds. 100% MySQL load. We had to remove the plugin via an FTP access because we couldn’t even work in the WordPress admin dashboard because the MySQL server didn’t respond under this heavy load. For now we’re back on the previous version 5.0.7.
Email sent.
The issue is really fixed now. Thank you.
Unfortunately, the v4.1.6 version doesn’t solve the issue with missing image thumbnails. All posts are made as text-only.

@Kodintsev: I can confirm your fix works only for text-only posts. When the image post selection is used, images get lost during the autopost process and all posts arrive on VK.com as text-only posts, although no error is displayed. This issue really needs to be addressed by the devs.
