Hi,
In this case, your fanpage ID is just “BlogName”.
Hi,
You have a conflict with another plugin that uses the Facebook API.
Version 1.2 will fix this but I don’t have the time to finalize it for the moment. You can try to disable the other plugin that is in conflict or wait for the 1.2 version.
Or, if you want to beta-test the 1.2 version, give me your email.
Hi Mario,
I just check your blog and it seems to work on your last post, no ?
@chrisdk : Thanks for the link. It’s clear for everyone now ??
@magoz : it’s the same problem of denharsh. You have to configure feedburner to show your real urls.
@marcolacivita : your fan page doesn’t share these comments. Only your comments are visible. You can check this on this page : https://graph.facebook.com/360128474229_116330815105312. (it’s the way the plugin see your post).
Maybe a privacy option set on your fan page ?
For all of you, are you sure your theme use the get_avatar function ?
If not, no plugin can manage your avatars. The avatar of a facebook imported comment point to the facebook profile avatar, not to the gravatar one, because the plugin cannot access the email address of the user (It’s private in the Facebook profile).
So, the plugin overrides the gravatar by the facebook avatar when the theme calls the get_avatar function.
If your theme doesn’t use this function and call the gravatar website directly, it cannot work.
OK, I don’t have this problem. Do you use another plugin that manage comments or avatars ? Do you see the FB avatars in you WordPress admin ?
Hi btotanes,
Thank you for your feedback,
I’ll take all your ideas in consideration for the next version.I was aware of the points 1 and 3 and will correct this. Point 4 is easy to correct too.
However, I never noticed the second problem because I don’t have the chance to have FB posts with 800 comments (or even more than 10 ^^). So could I ask you to make some tests with development versions I’ll send to you ?
Hi,
Can you tell me if the 1.1 has solved your problem ?@arajara : what version of the plugin do you use ?
You have to know that the Facebook API is sometimes very slow or doesn’t respond at all. So comments can be imported after many, many hours in this situation.
For me, some days, comments can be imported only at night. However, it seems to work well for many weeks now…

Jérome, I’m a bit late but it seems to work for you now, n’est-ce pas ?
Hi,
It is a problem with your server and SSL.
Check this link : https://curl.haxx.se/docs/sslcerts.html.Version 1.1 of FBCI will not check SSL CA certificates, so it should work better for you. FBCI 1.1 will be published very soon.
