But my user page has no parent page as they mention, so I have no solution for this yet…

Installed the UM’s update today, and it still happens.
Forgot to say that the infinite redirect is a result of a strange redirection from a click in, lets say:
/user/354

… always being redirected to:
user/1/

Happens with all members in the directory.
As I said before, this is happening with Post Name Permalinks, not with the default Permalink …

yes, that’s a turnaround. Still, It’d be nice to have UM using Post Name permalinks as before.

I subscribe that: suddenly profile pages return an infinite redirect and do not load …
It was working previously with the Post Name permalink, and now only the default permalink gives me access to those pages (e.g: /?page_id=8&um_user=1440)

I have UM configured to use the User ID from the permalink.

Or I could as well have replaced the jquery.tools.min.js with the new version in your plugins javascript folder, of course.
